I seem to remember this also being a lead intonwhat would be the most gut wrentching 8 years for Maple Leafs fans.
With an 8-2 blow out in the eastern conference semi finals , the Flyers mopped the floor with the Leafs dirty water and kicked them out of the playoffs in 6 games.
After this the Leafs didnt make the playoffs for 8 straight long sad pathetic devastating emotionally catastrophic drought...just so they could once again have another historically mind numbing downfall in less then 14mins against the boston bruins, completely collapsing and relinquishing a 4-1 lead to be booted out of the playoffs again in such a head tilting effort.
i give that ref credit he was there to save that fool quick plus domi didn't want to hurt him.

Tie would personally call this guy and work matters out with an all expense paid trip to Toronto for him and his family and agree to sign off any any future litigious matters. This, against the advice from both of their lawyers. Two good guys.....
