epicenter knob only controls the epicenter effect, it does not necessarily control your subs you would need to connect a knob directly to your amp to control your subs specifically
The epicenter knob adjusts how much you want the epicenter to work. It adjusts the frequency ranges in which it is bringing out. It is not a gain knob, so keep yours.
I use both bc i rotate between spanish and english songs so theres times where the epicenter is simply not needed and other times where the regular bass knob needs to be turned down, but if your strictly spanish then set your bass knob to like 50-75%, disconnect it and use the epicenter knob to control the epicenter effect
