I'm usually going in France and french roads are not like that. And the old cars are typical american cars. The language in a commercial is not telling where the commercial takes place. We also have a lot of translated commercials of brands from a lot of different countries in swiss/french TV channels. Peugeot just choose American landscapes because it's cooler than french ones.
peugeot 206 and 207 is quite an iconic car here where I live. It's the cheapest car you can buy that's actually good. Though yes I agree the classics will always be an icon

Depends. As the owner of 1991 Mazda Protegé Sedan and 2015 Mazda CX-5 Touring, both old and new can be fun to drive. Never driven a 207, but I did drive a 206 back then and it's pretty good. Not as bulletproof as the Protegé but still decent.
