For anyone going through the comments, I had a very different experience with the taxi situation that she mentions in the video!
I had pre booked my taxi from Srinagar to Sonmarg via an online platform(that was expensive) but the cab driver turned out to be really hospitable! Not only did he drop me off in Sonmarg but he also helped me get a good deal for the Thajiwas Glacier activities! I’ve now hired him for the remainder of my trip in Kashmir without burning my pocket! So I’m not sure how true the information is about having to take different cabs to travel intercity ! Maybe it depends on person to person!

Thanks for the info mam ,Will pony ride guys allow kids and parent on the same horse or will they ask to take separate horses even for kids. My kids age are 11 n 7
If kids can’t handle horses they do allow.. but weights also matter.. they only can confirm .. I am not the right person for this 🫶🏻

Ideally yes but please do read a bit over internet about high altitude effects on kids. The cold is bearable with proper clothing but high altitude breathing kindly research a bit.
