- I went to this region called Abruzzo in Italy and I explored the area to know if that is the kept secret from Italy...
When people book their trip to Italy, they immediately think of the famous landmarks like Rome, Amalfi coast, Lake Como... But they often forget of this amazing region called Abruzzo. Located only 2h from Rome you can find breathtaking views from mountains to blue watered beaches!
In this video I cover the landscapes, the people through interviews with locals and tourists, the local food arrosticini and much more!

Italian cuisine is incredible, I don't think we realize how diverse it is. really cool!! It would be fun to see and try the different cuisine from every region of Italy.
Exactly! Many people think it is only pizza and pasta and the more you travel there you realize how diverse it is!

This place used to be well forested... Without subsidies, pastures would not be economical and the area would be afforested gradually without any outside help.

Ciao per favore se potete aiutare anche me, vorrei andare qualche giorno in Abruzzo e vorrei raggiungere il Parco Nazionale della Maiella e anche Fara San Martino, qualcuno mi sa dire se posso arrivarci in treno o in autobus, perché Non riesco a noleggiare l'auto, ho cercato informazioni ma non ho trovato nulla di concreto, grazie!

guys this is not a restaurant is an occasionally opened stopover , never had liver arrosticini to be honest. there are super restaurants in Abruzzo, the best in Italy actually (check the Michelin guide; Ristorante Reale on top for several years), and thousands of excellent restaurants, not road stops like this. Underselling my abruzzo. where you wee is quite "remote' and the closest restaurant was likely way down the valley.
C'era una volta. il ristorante Da Guerino, a Pescara Porta Nuova, che serviva solo piatti di pesce fresco, era favoloso, ma non c'e piu, pero Pescara ha invece un Mc Donald, siamo suddetti di porcherie Americane, che schifo!

So benissimo che appartengo a un'atra generazione, ma mai avrei immaginato Italiani andare in un Mc Donald. o in un Burger King o a KFC, Preferisco mangiare erba, beh! se avessi tutti i miei denti. Mi sembra Italiani che vivano all'estero sono quelli piu orgogliosi del patrimonio culinario, e artistico di una nazione unica al mondo.
