Superb video! I’ve recently acquired a DD PCB and it has vertical jail bars on most backgrounds. The title screen especially. I’m going to clean the board up first and clean and reseat all the EPROM and take it from there. Your videos will definitely help a lot. Thank you sir. 👍
Your video nicely showcases the practicality of deductive reasoning! The system's dual sprite circuit architecture means the title screen displays a true Double Dragon :)
Thanks! I will try to fix more pcbs as I get my hands on them. I got actually two more non working double dragon pcbs - I hope it won't get boring though. :-) I could of course also try to fix an operation wolf when I find one - I already checked and the schematics for the board are actually available on the web which is pretty helpful for any repair efforts (as this 2nd double dragon video actually tries to show)
Yes they are unfortunately, dedicated machines with >100 channels you are easily looking at something above $1000 preowned. One of those would be perfect (like the Tektronix TLA machines). But there are cheaper versions with a USB interface and a pc program for example. If you really get into board repair and want to get a logic analyzer I would recommend one with at least 32 channels.
@@christophzett tnx a lot for your answers, i have actually one other board which is sunset riders with a color pixel missing some pixels are all blue all the time. I need to get one of those cheaper analysers. Do they have a specific name ?
