That's cause you probably didn't grow up to Pac's voice like I did. I was a teenager when he and Biggie were alive. I was chilling at a young adult night club on September 13, 1996 when the DJ announced that he died and I literally started crying soon as it processed. Hip hop was on a more personal level in the 90s cause of the lengths we went through to listen to the music. There was mad effort involved on the fans part. The internet wasn't around and we had to go out and look for albums or actually travel to go to concerts since we couldn't stream them or watch CZcams so when Biggie and Pac died it pierced the heart if you were a real fan of hip hop. Hip hop seems more connected now cause of social media and smartphones but it's actually more disconnected than it ever was.
