Tupac Shakur
“I didn’t care whether I lived or died.” I know what he means, and it takes a lot of mental strength to find that purpose to live. It’s just such a shame he couldn’t fulfill his full potential after he found that purpose.
I saw this interview back then and many times since. That statement almost breaks me every time. We lost an important person.
The way 2Pac excused himself for profanity just show how aware he is. He's very articulate and elaborates deeply on every question thrown at him. This guy was way ahead of his time and everyone elses. Everyone sees him as a lyrical rapper but I see him beyond that. He's an influential leader and has no filter whatsoever. Name a person (can be anyone) that's not afraid to speak on such controversial terms.
Not a 1 pops up to mind damn shame maybe Kaep but we saw how that transpired and he won't be saying anything in the near future

His eyes are the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen,.
I have a friend with the same eyes. It's crazy. I couldn't place it for a while, but it finally hit me that it was his eyelashes that really made his eyes looks like Pac's. So now when I look at Pac, I can't help but to focus on his eyelashes. They are feminine but not in a bad way at all. It's just kinda like he has a permanent mild mascara thing going on. One of the things that makes him unique. Not all guys have that but there are some.

Gorgeous I tell you.❤
"I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees." Rip king 👑❤️
A very humble statement there. Because he's talking about what's happening now in Hollyweird. Most of the rappers are living on their knees. Living a life of Sodom and Gomorrah. That's why you can see the rage and hate in their eyes and in their language.

I got chills after hearing that “where will Tupac be in 10 years” question and he even said “just want to be alive” this man was intelligent, intuitive, and very self aware with a high level of common and advanced sense. The world took a real L in 1996 and it’s still effecting us to this day. I’m mad we didn’t get to see him fully evolve but also grateful he got to do so much in his short time. I’m 26 now and can’t believe the progress he made in that amount of time. Legendary and the one and ONLY true goat 🐐
It’s a shame that so few artists now have the same level of lucidity and worldly intelligence. It’s a massive loss that he died so young.
He legend you are legend. Don't compare yourself to even Tupac, we all unique sparks of life. If you can see yourself with this mastermind, this is already so much hope for any world. We all blessed and keep blessing. This the truth

“don’t you ever volunteer for our people, cus they will use you” this statement has substantial foundation, though.
His reputation all these years later speaks for itself. His words are still respected today as they were in the early 90’s. Watching this make me angry and sad. Tupac had so much more to give us than just his music. I've always said this whenever I talk about him, he was more than a hip hop artist, he was a revolutionary in the making. His mind was brilliant and far exceeded his age. He was so ahead of his time. It's just sad to see what we missed out on. His music will be timeless, but his mind is what I think we'll miss the most.
I wish he was around today to speak to people. He had a way with words that was well beyond his years. Think about it for a moment. He was like 23-24 in this interview but spoke with the fluency and wisdom of someone at least 3x his age. It was a good interview but he choosed which questions to be asked. IMO that's not how an interview is suppose to be
@@sCareCrowmerk you are definitely a novice. presidents choose which questions to be asked in interviews, same thing with people of influence..and generally if you are invited to a studio for interview.. that is not a problem. the assesment is in the manner in which you ask those questions, the response to the questions...thats where your genius is called to question. plus, tupac had many interviews, planned and unplanned, and his genius shines through in every encounter
Not only a great rapper/artist but also an intelligent man with vision and the courage to speak up and lay down things as they are. As experienced by him growing up and becoming a man. Nothing but being himself and being real. Sad that you died too young brother. Love and Respect for you Tupac❤🙏✨
The world wasn't ready for the earthquake of a movement Tupac was bringin.
His energy was to blitz the world exposing reality, speaking the hard truths, thug style. Rest in peace pac.
I'm the first generation American Chinese and I know exactly what he's talking about. Pac is a very intelligent guy and has a beautiful heart. It's sad he got caught up in all these but I do sincerely wish he will become an angel in the heaven standing next to our Lord. I grew up listening to his music but didn't fully understand the true meanings of his lyrics. I felt like I grew up with him and he will be truly missed.
When Tupac left us I was 27yrs old, just a yr older. I believe he is still the best of all times.
I'm 20 years old
10 years from that interview he is still alive, only not in physical form. Legends never die
Pac was a God's voice among men.
I was 13 when this originally aired, at that time I knew what he was saying was deeply important and needed to be heard. Over time as I got older and I would revisit this interview the message would become clearer. Present day his message in this interview is loud and clear. Tupac is definitely missed tremendously.
Happy Belated Birthday Tupac 🎂
Very intellectual and intelligent person... He is one of my favourite I don't know how his colleagues disliked him it's a shame!
Tupac was so innovative, he was way before his time!!! I Love him so much!! His passion for our people is real... I could listen to him all day!! I actually had my son listening to Tupac interviews yesterday so he could understand better about what’s going on today!! I pray this time we have real change!! Happy Heavenly Birthday Tupac!! You would have been right here fighting with us in the front lines!!! RIH

Why hasn’t this video been used to represent what people are still living with? He was so beloved. His words could still be helping people find a common ground. This great young man will always be a hero and greatly missed 💜🙏🏻
Where do you see Tupac in 10 years from now? that's so hard. he always knew.
I truly missed him not just as a rapper, but an intelligent black man that can keep it real. Listen to his song "Changes" & "Keep your Heads Up" say it all!!✊💜🥰

So eloquent, so intelligent, so much wisdom , so much passion. R.I.P. brother. ❤
TUPAC FOR PRESIDENT !
Tupac a young man way ahead of his generation. Snuffed out because he stood for something. This man tried to give us the reality check yeats ago about life. This interview shows clearly that he wasn't the man that he was portrayed to be. A life gone but his soul has never been forgotten 💔 Thank you Pac!
Yeah snuffed out by your own race 🥺
