The scream music video was cutting edge at the time. It still holds up today. Imagine if he had the same funds and same popularity to hype up a massively expensive music video. No artist today could compare. Mjs videos were somewhat of an event to watch like the super bowl
I actually said when he died so suddenly the night b4 the "THIS Is It" tour, & after I saw everything that went into the show he created, I told my friends & family that if he'd gotten the chance to just do ONE opening show, it would have cheapened the rest of the entire entertainment industry bc NO1 could've topped it. It was so outstanding, every other mainstream artist would have probably ended their careers trying to raise the bar to that show. I mean, u have a man over 50 trying to save his voice so he can sound authentic & incredible(MJ was really big on performing a song the way it's heard on his albums + an intro or spectacular ending), in an era where just about ALL other artists r "lip-singing" or singing w/ a backup track. It's almost like he died bc the show would've ended the career of a lot of other entertainers, not to mention a huge budget issue for all writers/directors, producers, etc. I still believe that... I would've been fine w/ that tho! Let all other artists STARVE if it means we get to keep MJ!!lol

Not even a bunch of special effects could reflect Michaels performance on stage way back when! When the hologram dances it's like he's a 16 year old performing in front of an audience for the first time. Stiff in some ways and just doesn't get the same energetic feel as you get watching MJ throughout the 90's. Not to say it's bad at all, it just misses the mark by *just* a bit

Not even a computer generated MJ, with the ability of control the slightest movement, can dance as incredibly smooth and sharp as the original. Just Extraordinary talent.
The problem is rather different. Making it perfect is the easiest thing to do, but it will look unrealistic. There has to be a little bit of non-ideality. But finding the balance is much harder.
It is far different from the same because if you watch it you can easily tell that Michael doesn't move that slow, and also that punch thing was hilarious he never did that EVER but W animated michael

Man, when the song ends and Michael sits back down on the throne, it makes me sad that its over. I felt so happy seeing him perform on stage again (even if its not actually him). They did a really good job, and I would truly love to see more. Love you Michael ❤
Everybody who worked on this project, from the live dancers , the dancers in the hologram, the set design, the FX, the producers Timbaland and J-Roc for giving the song a new dimension of a beat, the marketing team , the executive producers for making it all happen, and not to forget the tech crew, the director , the sound team, the camera team, the pyro team for his dance break, and all the support that also went in…all the ingredients for a wonderful MJ performance.

Knowing him, he'd go ballistic with technology and with a song like this on Billboard Awards, he would take his precious amount of time onstage as he always did. I remember seeing this for the first time when I was 5 or 4 and I was obsessed with Michael. I didn’t know he died because nobody ever told me. The next day I told my sister I saw Michael Jackson on tv and she said no you didn’t that wasn’t real. We argued for a couple minutes then I went to ask my dad if it was true and he said yes. I cried so much the whole day and I was sad for a whole week. I’m 12 now and Michael has been a huge part of my life. He helped me get through my dads death this year and I’m so thankful that I got to walk the same earth as him for a year

This was insane. I felt so happy to see him again and so sad knowing that he's gone. The world has yet to see another artist and performer like this.
I doubt we will ever see a Artist greater or just as great as him. MJ was one of a kind, a true entertainer. Rest In Peace Mike
