- Alright folks we're back for the new year and what better way to start off than a Burst?! This beautiful 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard has an incredible flame top that is lively and animated with changing light, perfect PAF pickups, and even an old Bigsby - a rare thing to see on a rare guitar like this. Trevor is here to fill you in about the guitar before we hand things off to Skyler Mehal for a demo with a tweed Fender Tremolux!

After 15 years of watching these videos across various channels i think that might be the best burst ive ever seen or heard
That bigsby makes this amazing guitar even more special.
It's always interesting to see the comments on these beauty's.
And the bigsby just raises the stakes . Like em or not , there's no question ,this one's a fine example
That Burst is unbelievably clean!!! Gorgeous and sounds amazing!
Love it when you bring out the Burst's for all to admire. Thank you!
My birth year and it's my birthday...would make a nice gift, Trevor!
Amazing guitar. Heavy on the covet.
that...that...yess
Jaw dropping fiddle! Awesome playing… How do you spell Skyler Michal? Great player!
Skyler Mehal
Epic combo. The high powered tremolux amps aren’t too plentiful either.
Would be sooo nice to have half a mill to spend on a burst.
Consistently the most cringe comment section. Skyler, you sound amazing
What’s with the reverb? Adding reverb seems a bit of a cheat IMO
It’s not reverb, it’s a vintage Echoplex tape echo unit. You can see it right next to him in the video.
Very nice, but you bring out a burst, and you don't let the player cut loose at all?? Those PAFs sound fantastic, but how would you know?
You would definitely want a big discount on that one.
2021 Epiphone Custom Koa Les Paul all day long over Gibson..Gibson = 🥱
Rout it for a floyd and shred
Sounds like a Les Paul .....
Beautiful guitar, but man that Bigsby destroys the look for me..
Thank you for saying this for me! My sentiments exact!👍 I never understood how anyone could like those monstrosities on a guitar!
The old ones were nickel aluminum they weren't heavy like the pot metal ones, once you broke it in, it holds tuning just fine, the extra mass adds a bit more resonance.
Completely disagree. I think it looks amazing. Almost every guitar I've owned that could have a Bigsby on it got one put on it.
Bigsby? Pass.
