Simply Complicated Tree Farms

I used Minecraft 1.19.2 and Create 0.5.1 to build these tree farms but they should work for earlier versions of Minecraft and Create as well. I really tried to achieve the most simplistic look above ground for these tree farms. Nothing except the sapling is visible until the sapling turns to a tree and then a mechanical saw pops out of the ground to cut the tree down.
I want to give a shout out to @aRandomDudeDRS who helped a lot with the tree farms and came up with the design for the rotational tree farm. This guy has some amazing ideas on his channel.

I was first confused why you would bother with the dirt block, but it is your way or detecting when the tree has grows witch is just incredibly smart and something I will definitely steal as an inspiration for my design.

Yes, Everything as a Create Micro-farm, Micro Tree farms, Wheat, Potatoes, melons, animals, etc Every farm each as small as possible Aesthetically Pleasing & decently efficient.

I really like the tutorial, but for the dark oak form, the dirt blocks don't get collected but drop to the side next to the belt instead. Do you have any idea what's causing that?

Yes, the direction reverses as the platform moves down which was a bit of a design flaw I forgot to fix. If you put a solid block where the items are dropping off the belt you will fix this issue

Dark oak farm: Instead of the contraption controls couldn't you use a schematic to have the deployers place grass only where you want it?

You could but schematics use world coordinates so if you were to build this farm in your world you would have to also position the additional schematic and add that to the filters

Why do you replace the dirt with grass?

It's so the Smart Observer can detect when the tree grows and forces it to change from grass to dirt.
