I love how these type of videos are getting a lot more popular recently. I've always loved older versions of the game and it's so calming to sit down on a night and watch these kind of vids while drinking some tea. Cool world btw, very nice!
This was what I wished and dreamed of when Beta 1.7.3 was the "new" version, just being able to get together with a bunch of friends committed to crafting out a world from our imagination. Love how nice you've made everything look as well, it can be a challenge considering the "primitive" palette we're given but maybe it's also a strength...we aren't too overwhelmed by our choices. Would love to continue to see updates.
Hell yeah, I love watching minecraft world tours like this. I love how your world is sectioned off into districts and stuff, it makes it feel very lived in. As for the torch on the 0, 0 coordinate, maybe it would be cool to place a lighthouse there? Or a lighthouse anywhere along the coastline, really.
Regarding farmland - you can put fences underneath the farmland and it wont get trampled anymore, neither by animals nor by players, mobs etc. You can jump on it as much as you please. If any concept ideas come to mind, I'll edit this comment.
Good build my guy. I am changing my mentality nowadays to have simple yet clean looking builds like this instead of... overdesigning like pro builders I see everywhere
very cool world, one of the best I've seen. your skyline idea is really cool, why not add some boats infront of it? I think sailships and paddle wheelers are awesome. Also, you're the only person I've seen even try to make anything in the nether, so that's nice.
