Some of you may have noticed during that WB goodbye message, Melissa Joan Hart’s name was misspelled. The belief, and I’ve heard a lot of people say they believe this, as do I, is that this was a payback middle finger to her. See, she trashed the network and said no one knew what her show was about when it was brought there from ABC. She was more than happy to trash them and say she hated them even though they saved her show after ABC canceled it. So, knowing she could really do nothing about it, they misspelled her name and when people pointed it out, pretty much just said oh well.
The reason Kids’ WB! lost Pokemon is because Cartoon Network outbid The WB and Kids’ WB! for it so they lost it. They had no control over it and also, they had lost reruns of the Indigo League Pokemon series too so they couldn’t air Pokemon anymore sadly.
Good video man and I agree with you. I feel like The CW has lost its way and I can’t even watch it anymore. Ty again for the content and keep it coming please!

*Fun Fact:* The reason why Johnny Test was cancelled back in 2014 is because David Straiton, the TV producer, filed a lawsuit against Scott Fellows, who wasn't involved with the show anymore, for not giving him a credit as a co-creator. Both David and Scott developed the show back in 1996, but couldn't scored the TV deal for it.
Honestly, Johnny Test might be one of the worst cartoons, but I kinda feel sorry for the show since CN screwed it up, which it's the same thing happened to Teen Titans GO!

This is why everyone is on the internet now. Even older people are now on the internet regularly. If there were no sports or news on TV anymore, television would be dead completely. I don’t know if anyone knows this but TeleXitos, a Spanish TV channel, has been airing a 2-hour Spanish dubbed Pokémon block on Sunday mornings since May 2020. It’s on it’s first run of seasons 1 - 5 and currently on Johto Journeys at the moment. TeleXitos even played the films Pokémon The Movie (2000) and Pokémon The Movie : I Choose You (2017) on its Pokémon premier on the channel.
I’m in my mid 20’s now and I have been watching it every Sunday hehe 😜 even though I’m not used to cartoons in their Spanish dub. There’s still a good nostalgic feeling to it though, and I only wish that TeleXitos could work out more seasons after season 5.

The fall of Kids WB and most other cartoon channels was inevitable, with the rise of the internet kids were going to see things whenever they wanted, however they wanted, while not trying to wait a week for the one show they liked or trying to wait ot filter out things they didn't agree with.
It's a problem because kids aren't going to be open to things with how the internet operates, they will be in a echo chamber of things their friends or parents agree with or like.
That's the problem with the rise of netflix or internet TV shows.
Most people don't even watch TV anymore they just reflect what their friends do or what their parents forced upon them.
It is what it is, we can appreciate the times we had where we had to be a little patient. But i would argue that our previous generation before us was much better off as well, we have digital conveniences at the expense of real human interaction.

Warner Bros Animation give a revolving door to acquire programming too, these 4 were Eon Kid, Will & Dewitt, Skunk Fu! & Magi-Nation. I’m pretty sure TheCW did say they would sell its programming block slot to 4kids entertainment, but here’s what they could’ve done, rebranded kids WB to Kids CW, or simply TheCW Kids.

@@Doknot-tb9ey Before I offer my opinion, I do want you to know that I was born in late 2004, so my opinion on the network especially in the 2000s isn’t really that credible. My earliest memories of the network stem from the summer of 2007, but I have done research on the network recently and want to offer my two-cents. IMO 2006 was the beginning of the transition for the network as that was the beginning of the network changing its demographic to appeal to younger audiences with HSM and especially HM, as well as the start of the network shoving its cartoons to the side. Mid-2007 was where the network started to cater to teens, as cartoons started being pushed to bad time slots and the live action shows would dominate the daytime schedule - the scheduling was so bad to where HM and TSLOZAC got aired around 5 times a day, while the cartoons got pushed to midnight hours (though the ones still around did get some midday hours later on in the year). Even TSR and Phil of the Future got shafted to early afternoon hours most of the time. However, the saving grace of that era was the introduction of WOWP and P&F, as well as Phil of the Future, TSR, TSLOZAC, and Life with Derek (though I’ve never seen it) still having some rerun hours during that era. The real end to 2000s Disney Channel was around mid-late 2008/early 2009 when Camp Rock came out and TSLOZAC ended, as the new generation took over and the network lost the wholesome style it had in favor for teeny-hoppy programming. Overall, 2006-2007/2008 were the last good years of 2000s Disney Channel. Do you agree?
