Anyone here remember watching Fox Kids growing up?
I do, but I jumped in super late, so my memory of it is kind of vague. I only remember watching Digimon, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Monster Rancher, and NASCAR Racers.
I watched it back in the day along with Disney's One Saturday Morning and Kids WB.
I still have my old recorded tape of the Fox Kids block from early 1997.
(Contains mostly Goosebumps and Eerie Indiana episodes)

I miss Saturday mornings foxkids. I remember waking up in the morning watching all these cartoons great times.
Some times we will never get back 🥲
True
I remember trying to avoid Saturday school to watch those cartoon.
Me too. I remember that my young brother and I wake up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons from 7:00 AM through 12:00 PM. Whether it's on Fox Kids, Kids' WB, Disney's One Saturday Morning, or UPN Kids program block on network television. I remember watching Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Rangers (Mighty Morphin through Time Force), X-Men, Spider-Man, Cubix: Robots for Everyone, The Incredible Hulk, Mummies Alive, Godzilla, and more.
@@intellectualdigest6003 I would have to agree with @will.famnade.videos Because I too remember coming home, heading for my bedroom, throwing my school backpack down on the floor, sitting on my bean bag chair, grabbing the remote control, turning on the TV, and just watch Fox Kids Cartoons and Shows, I also remember waking up every Saturday morning just to watch Fox Kids and Shows, and I've learned a lot just by watching Fox Kids Cartoons and Shows, My Top 100 Favorite Fox Kids Cartoons and Shows ( that'll always and forever remain in my heart (and mind)) Are.

I remember when FOX kids first started Saturday mornings were great in the 90's
Wonder if a bowl of cereal and Saturday morning cartoons would hit the same.
I grew up with it. And definitely miss it!
They just don't do TV like that anymore. Everyone got cheap.
I would love to bring that kind of era of entertainment back
I watched this back in the day along with Kids WB and Disney's One Saturday Morning.
Care free times man 🥲
@@intellectualdigest6003 What I wouldn't give to go back to those days.
Once Pokémon came out in 1999 I switch from Fox Kids to Kids WB for good.
Gotta catch ‘em all!
People love Fox Kids because it made the audience cool and intelligent.
What do you mean ?
@@intellectualdigest6003 they think that the Fox Box/4Kids TV killed the coolness of the 2000s
Channel 59 (Fox Kids) VS. Channel 4 (Kids WB) in my city. I'll Never forget it. The good days.
I was born in 89 and lived in chicago during the 90s into early 2000s. I first watched Fox kids in the early 90s and the shows i really loved was power rangers starting from the first one (In Space is my favorite). Beast Wars/ Beast Machines, Beetleborgs, goosebumps, eerie indiana (actual indiana is the alabama of the north), Digimon and more. It was also my introduction to 90s superhero stuff like Batman/Spider-Man/ X-men (Those Rogue Posterior shots really boggled the mind). When Pokémon aired on Kids WB. It was HUGE. The popularity was out of this world. Whats more interesting was the Rise of Anime during this time. Hell i vaguely remember USA channel airing Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon at the buttcrack of dawn. Being old now, it absolutely sucks knowing how Much the FCC placed restrictions (read: Censorship) on many of the shows.
I watched all of this. I was born in '86, no cable and a television with a pair of bunny ears upstairs meant I pretty much never missed an episode up through '99. It wasn't as high quality as Nickelodeon but it was better than the Disney shows from my perspective, and it was free over the air. I don't know what I would say about it. It all was such a long time ago. Cheers.
Some good memories that’s for sure ! I feel like nick was definitely the standard. Best cartoons FOR SURE !
Fox had
Batman TAS
X-men TAS
Spiderman TAS
Animaniacs
Tiny Toon Adventures
I'd definitely say Fox had the better selection when it comes to action, drama and comedy shows. Nick had the more relatable shows and the advantage of having a whole network as opposed to just a block like Fox
I loved Fox kids !!! I wish Disney would let fox kids be a cable network
I know, I’d definitely stay tuned with all the old shows. Just a never ending loop of nostalgic shows
@intellectualdigest6003 What if, Kids' WB had all old shows from Warner Bros. Animation?
I was obsessed with Ninja Turtles Next mutation as a kid, watched it as it aired and years later(probably like 2003) nobody believed me when I mentioned the show. Weird experience renting the VHS from Blockbuster and proving my friends wrong but the show just not being as good as I remembered
Man as a kid every time i watched ninja turtles i wanted to order a pizza 🍕😂
You're not proving your friends "wrong", the series was never good in the first place.
@@intellectualdigest6003 What if, 4Kids did with Tmnt?
I miss those days
I loved digimon and andros on pris 😍
I loved Fox kids. In Canada we even got the Channel here. Even though in I could watch all these shows on a channel called YTV in Canada I still preferred Fox Kids.
You and the rest of the gang here! Fox kids was amazing !
@@intellectualdigest6003 Even Fox Family?
I remember Watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on Fox Kids.
I didn't have cable growing up. I would switch between Fox and Kids WB depending on what was on. I even watched Power Rangers all the way to Wild Force.
Fox Kids was before my time but Kids WB I remember they used to show Pokémon, Yu Gi Oh, and Sonic X they had an amazing lineup and it was very popular in the 2000s 🤩 For many kids it was their first introduction to anime ❤️🔥 Fantastic video bro just subscribed 🔥
Pokemon was huge!
(Proceeds to show Digimon)
I know i should have transitioned the slide , hope you still enjoyed the content though 😜
@@intellectualdigest6003 yeah the video was good
in elementary my dad used to drop me off at my cousins so i could watch mighty morphin power rangers after school ❤
The block had a tendency of screwing over shows that weren’t Digimon. A good example is the Woody Woodpecker Show, which was able to be able to air for the first few weeks of the rebrand. Was massively screwed over and it took 2 years for the US Fox Kids to air Season 2 (at 2pm nonetheless) the show then returned at 8AM few months later in 2002 where it was shortly disappeared of TV never to be played again
They also really dropped the ball on those E/I requirements too...until PBS transferred Magic School Bus...and they were all too eager to air that one just to say "are you happy now FCC?"
I mean on one hand Brøderbund and DiC had gave them 4 years of raw unreleased game footage to air as a cartoon...and they made the last season a cable exclusive? Hmm....that seems a little odd. Especially when Carmen Sandiego's Earth-show and Magic School Bus would have made for a great pair after the PBS games ended in 1998...and to get a pair chemistry once...for a teaser...they could have used "The Busasaurus" and "Dinosaur Delirium" to show what the E/I fun could have been especially since Rita Moreno wasn't even trying to hide that Carmen and the Frizz were friends in that episode...playing one Dr. Carmina Skeledon. Then used episodes of Carmen's GHW shows that mirrored MSB's science lessons if possible since Science and GHW are often paired up as partner subjects in school and made new episodes for both and keeping the formula going using the Frizz's science lesson to pick Carmen's GHW lesson, Frizz goes first because it's not every day that a PBS show gets syndicated...which says a lot about the most popular junuor scientists book ever.
Infact here's a few more of how it could have paired besides the teaser two with a common thread between the two.
MSB: "Lost In Space"
Carmen: "Moondreams"
MSB: "Gets Planted"
Carmen: "The Play's the Thing"
MSB: "Takes a Dive"
Carmen: "Split Up"
MSB: "Blows it's Top"
Carmen: "Hot Ice"
MSB: "Gets Ready, Set, Dough"
Carmen: "Scavenger Hunt"
That would have been a hit on the E/I end.
Digimon was just as popular as Power Rangers and even became more popular than Pokémon. I don't get why everyone hates on Digimon
I personally loved digimon.. not more than Pokémon 😂 but Digimon was dope!
More than pokemon huh?…. It was good but better…just slightly not true but those were golden ages of cartoons
@@intellectualdigest6003 What about the old Digimon, before the reboot of the first season?
It's because it was in the shadows of Pokémon.
i love digimon but it was NEVER more popular than pokemon
Foxkids was my Childhood
Foxbox killed Foxkids
FoxBox had all of the old shows.
Haven't saw it air anything by Warner in my 90s.
Mmm, Bobby's World was a Warner Bros created show?
No, Bobby’s World was actually created for Fox kids. I was just stating Bobby’s World was one of the shows that was removed from Fox once WB took all the shows with them.
@@intellectualdigest6003 Kids' WB have the New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond, Superman in 1996, Histeria, Detention, Road Rovers, Freakazoid, Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, Pinky and the Brain, Static Shock, Zeta Project, Teen Titans in Fall 2003, Xiaolin Showdown, Mucha Lucha, Ozzy & Drix, What's New Scooby-Doo, The Batman, Loonatics and Tom & Jerry Tales.
@@intellectualdigest6003 and that really didn't help their E/I requirements did it?
I mean they had two right there already.
Bobby's World+ Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? and then when they accquired MSB that would have made a nice trio wouldn't it? I mean you can easily pair up several MSB and Carmen episodes to teach both the science and GHW portions as well as both Carmen and The Frizz teaching their class "people" lessons...or in Carmen and C.H.I.E.F's. case "their two teenage children"...and Bobby's World allowed for "What if?" as an alternative to Barney and The Noddy Shop, but with a similar concept. That would have really allowed them to expirement more with the weekday block too...try to get the Weekday block be the edutainment slot (maybe like changing up the third new edutainment show to have alongside Carmen and MSB because those would be the Big 2 "Cool School" shows so pick a music or art show maybe?) and the Saturday Block be more fun-centric...with a Carmen and an MSB also there to "keep the FCC happy".
Now I have to worry about stupid bills
I take back every time i wished to be an adult as a kid … it all makes sense now 😂
At 3:00--that reminds me of the days when every region of the country had its OWN Ronald McDonald. That pissed me off! Why couldn't we get the REAL Ronald McDonald from the TV commercials? Hmm, fine vid all and all and most of us were into FOX kids even until other blocks arrived.
Batman tas was great, but being on Kids wb expanded its world more with Superman, Beyond, Static Shock.
I kinda disagree with what "little" input the 4kids/Fox Box block offered, they introduced a new TMNT that actually respects its source material, had notable/ alright english themes for their inported animes , and made more meme worthy stuff (Gotta Go fast, OP rap, The stars of 4kids), granted its little compared to FK, but its not that little.
Pfft no mention of Beetleborgs. How tragic!
