In the boutique they attached the shoulder strap behind the handle on the top of the C. Like thin the CD stays up.

It is not too heavy, no BUT it is my heaviest bag. That being said the quality is impeccable. I do not baby it and it looks new. I have seen one used almost everyday and still looks brand new it's crazy
