It totally does scratch! Can't lie about that. the faux croc one in black doesn't scratch at all. I wish i had spent a bit more for that version

canvas is not leather. It is just canvas. Vachetta is pronounce va-ket-ta. It is Italian and has a strong K not ch. Enjoy your purchase.

Hi, I am torn between the LV Boulogne and the Odeon PM. I just saw your unboxing of the Boulogne. I really like that it has the adjustable leather strap and the gold chain strap for a seamless day to night bag. However, the Odeon PM has a front pocket and seems like it's a great bag for every day. I can see using the pocket for my phone and keys and that seems so convenient. I was wondering how much fits in the Boulogne and your opinion on how convenient it has been as a everyday bag. Thanks!

It is not too heavy, no BUT it is my heaviest bag. That being said the quality is impeccable. I do not baby it and it looks new. I have seen one used almost everyday and still looks brand new it's crazy

There is less scratching on the white one. I also have the black in the mini version and I notice scratches on it.
In the boutique they attached the shoulder strap behind the handle on the top of the C. Like thin the CD stays up.
