Hi Tuyet. I recommend you go to a sewing machine dealer store. Tell them what your budget is and what type of sewing you do. They will show and demonstrate machines that will fit your needs. I love this placemat. However, I am working with a one yard length of fabric. I am trying to adjust the sizing to accommodate the width of 42”. Do you have the measurements for that?
Hi Patsy. Cut Fabric B 18" x 20". When you fold this fabric over to the front on top of Fabric A your width of the border will be smaller. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

I wish you weren’t showing this video this way. It was so hard to understand how you did the border. I bet I watched it twenty times when I was at that stage. I am as exhausted cause I really wanted to make it for my daughter. II also did not make it that wide so I had such a hard time! Next time I will make your border!! Lol
