That part where you mixed the "cells interlinked with cells" scene with K and JOI in the rain...absolutely brilliant! Brings out the emotion of those scenes even better IMO

This movie should’ve blown up more. It’s honestly one of the best movies I’ve ever watched and it’s a SEQUEL at that. Everything about it is amazing, the dialogue, camera, sequencing..it’s just great.
It's a slow burn. Transformers, Fast and Furious and the like have addled people's attention span.
We will get another sequel in 35 years, stay tuned!
I for one think the reception it got was extremely fitting. This film was poorly received and misunderstood when it was released, and it wasn't until years later that it's lasting impact and craft is being reassessed. Just like the original film it was based on. And now this movie is filling the same exact footsteps as the circle continues. And that cult underdog status - just like the original - makes it even more enjoyable for me. It's poetic.
Even more appropriate when you realize that elliptic, self-repeating events are a major staple of traditional noir storytelling.

Very true. Just needed some changes and work to make it better. Like the A.I gf. She should have been taken off the mainframe a long time ago. The blind dude should have been able to get what ever info he wanted from her.

@Adromedox Eh just saying out of my head, was the fact that she did technically copy her memories and gave him to Joe. Trough some number of events he comes the truth step by step closer, the problem: what if another Blade Runner showed up on Sapper Morton.
The fact that he had without explanation acess to a machine gun car. Dont get me wrong I love this movie but these are some of the problems I have (which arent that many). Technically all of these plot points can be explained but the movie didnt try to
@@rekhyt656 it wouldn't matter if another Blade Runner went after sapper, k was never supposed to find out about the kid. It was just coincidence that he had her memories as she was implanting them illegally in the new nexus models.

It's pacing was off and audio and visual quality came above plot consistency.
I loved the movie, but I can see why it didn't get best picture nomination. Imo the characters were interesting but seemed like they existed in separate stories at times, instead of interweaving them with the narrative.
But again, this is just my opinion.
Oscars love drama genres. Just look at the statistics

It’s from a band called Low Roar.
The music was used in the first death stranding trailer. A video game by hideo kojima.
That's probably when it will come out.

It's like all your past selves are drinking at a bar and this song starts playing. They start leaving one by one, each in its own fashion; stumbling, walking tall, through the restrooms from the backdoor, and so on... And then in the end only one self remains and pays all the others' bills.

Just saw the movie (yeah I know what the fuck took me so long) I'm litterally speechless, the story, photography, score of this movie is incredible.
One of the best sci-fi movies for me with 2001, Inception and Arrival.
And this video is as great as the movie is. Great choice of music and great edit. Well done

A lot of people I know were shitting on Blade Runner 2049. Finally got to see it myself and I actually enjoyed it. This edit was done excellently!
The movie is too slow and goes into many details for the average Avengers viewership. They'll just hate on it just because they are just used to watching movies with random action scenes and explotions everywhere.
BR 2049 is just on another level that many people doesn't get to appreciate.

This editing and music is superb. The only thing I would change is maybe where the video ends. I'd show him on the stairs, then him in his car to make it look like he never died (did he actually die) or I'd not put in the stairs scene but end with him driving his car (without Joi and preferably bruised up.)
