- Stormy takeoff and flight in Cessna Turboprop 425. Heavy rain, lightning, crosswinds and gusty winds caused us to delay on the taxiway for quite some time. Beautiful flight over Spokane Washington as we fly the departure procedure from Felts Field airport (KSFF).
Aircraft type is a Cessna Conquest 1 C425 with PT6 - 112 engines.
Avionics: Garmin G600 XTI with GTN 750 and GTN650.

What a speed machine, one of the most beautiful twins from Cessna family, 340, 310, 441,442 are just art
I agree! The 340 is a beauty. Never flown the 441 though with the Garrett’s. But one day... one day.... lol!
@@EvanLuft You can come fly mine. KLGB.
@@EvanLuftGood work with the video. I fly a 340A - and have some videos on my channel.
Hey everyone! If you enjoyed my video don't forget to like and subscribe, I would really appreciate the support! More to come soon. Thanks again and happy flying! :) :)

Thanks so much!
God, i love turboprops.
Haha you speak my language!
@@EvanLuft you’re my master.
Nice plane Evan! My dad has a King Air C90b with the XP-135A engine upgrade
Oh wow! thats a nice airplane! You can bolt on 135s to the conquest as well but its darn expensive! The c90b is one of my favourite aircraft, especially owner flown. :)
Evan Luft for sure! What does your plane cruise at?
nice video, thanks for sharing.
thanks!! :)
looks like there was a CB directly overhead when you were waiting on the taxiway before takeoff
Nice plane😊😊
thanks! its a good lil bird
i like instrument stuff!
Me too!
Nice
Thanks!
Nice video. Talk more about the conquest I. Show the interior. Beautiful airplane.
I will do that in one of my next videos hopefully! :)
What happened to the landing ?? U never got back on earth ?? Nice plane and i like flying through the rain !! Thanks Sir and B Safe !!
The old gopro died. I have to find a way to keep those batteries charged longer! haha
Spokanites or the less popular Spokanistani are both acceptable terms for a Spokane resident.... Great channel!
Hahaha this is the first time someone has answered this question for me :) thanks!! :)
You change for PT6 and 600 TXI... and your plane its really nice. Its a dream for me to have something like that and go to work and holidays with my family. Perhaps in the future. Congrats! I enjoy your vids.
Thanks so much!! Actually... this airplane was built with the PT6's. The Cessna Conquest has the PT6's originally. :) Cessna 425. And the Garmin XTI is awesome!
*Spokanites. Lol. SFF is right next door to my home base of COE. Skyway Cafe is a fav for the "hundred dollar hamburger" run! Love that airplane.
Its one of my favourite places to fly to! nowadays it sthe $400 hamburger :( lol
@@EvanLuft yeah, flying turboprops it's definitely a $400 hamburger!!!
So how long u been a pilot? Pilot.
What is the max ceiling on that there aircraft?
For me just over 15 years now. Max ceiling is 28k!
Can you fly a plane like this with your PPL? or you need an additional license ? New subscriber here 😁
Hey thanks! :) You indeed can! However you do need to have an aircraft type rating because the aircraft is in the high performance category. This can be done by a qualified pilot on that airplane. Dim school helps too (flight safety or simcom). You also need a multi engine IFR rating. But yes a ppl can fly this :)
@@EvanLuft thanks for that info man!!! 🥂
So cruising you did about 70gph at 21,000ft at 265KTAS?
Yep! Some operators even say they get 65 Gph at those settings.
@@EvanLuft thanks for confirming.
:)
Is it a turboprop or a piston
Turboprop :)
I like how you keep repeating XTI ^^
Haha yeah and I now realize I was wrong… Hahahha it’s the TXI G600 hahah
@@EvanLuft I thought you had found out a long time ago somewhere between 2019 and now! Nobody knows what TXI is anyway but I also happen to have two of them (with EIS) in my Malibu. They are great but I wish Garmin would come up with some 12" screens.
Haha that’s awesome! Yeah in our other 425 we put two of the 750s in! What kind of Malibu?!?
Buenas tardes bery beri naisss
De mexico broter
gracias!
Y nó tiene limpiabrisas, como el King Air, y el Cheyenne.
No :p
Waiting for GoPro fix to finish vid thx
I posted some new landing vids in my new vids :)
How to save money while flying a plane get old plane put new upgrades and now u got a semi modern plane
EVAN HOW ABOUT SOME NEW AND INTERESTING VIDEOS. I LOVE YOUR PLANE, ITS THE ULTIMATE TWIN. PLUS ITS QUITE FAST. HOW DID YOU END UP BUYING YOUR PLANE? ARE YOU SELF EMPLOYED? WHAT A TOY!
I don’t own this airplane haha. I fly the owner though. I am a “freelance” pilot as in I do find my own work for private owners :) mostly corporate/charter type work.

I just now fully understood what your comment was referring to and I love it haha.
in the thumb nail this dudes face looked like he sticked someone else's face on his head.
Haha funny because I took that selfie
I taught you better than this. ;)
lol when we both flew to lethbridge in the soup my job was to watch the air temp in the pa30 for ice. It was awesome being able to learn IFR from experienced pilots like yourself. Slightly different nowadays...
@@EvanLuft Experienced? Truth is i knew nothing back then. Would never tell you that though 🤣
@@MeatServoPilot that explains a lot of things now.... haha :p
@@EvanLuft Good decision waiting it out. Usually 20 minutes is all it takes.
