James Bond is probably based on Dusko Popov. Really awesome, and incredible story if you are interested. Peace
Fleming himself said that he based the character James Bond on a number of commando and spy types that he knew during the war. Not one particular person. But most of James Bond‘s personal traits, likes and dislikes, are actually Fleming’s.
