Top 10 Level 9 Monsters in YuGiOh

- If this video we'll go over the best level 9 or rank nine monsters in the game, a level range which is so unpopular that it developed its own soft archetype around it, where there are couple of really good support cards for level 9 monsters because of how few of them there were.
-The List-

Trishula is so good that it completely overshadows the entire Ice Barrier Archetype.
The only possible competition would be Brionac, but that's not even a close second.
@@ace-trainer-aj brionac literally only see plays after trish was ban

A shout out to all generaider boys
He mentioned that Lvl 9 has its own support in the video, dude.
What about level 11 monsters😢
@@RazorusR3X777 I know there a few lv11 monsters can't think of any but don't all rank 11 xyz can rank up from 10 ?
@@lurkingchaos7035 Yep, three rank 11 XYZ rank up on another rank 10 XYZ monsters with the exception of cXYZ Skypalance, which requires you to use a rank up spell on a certain monster in its archetype.
I think a good video could be "Top Ten Cards waiting to become Busted"
For example: Snake Rain is just waiting for a good Reptile Archetype to abuse it
Rekindling,
Its just broken. *in theory
In practice. It doesnt have anything to abuse it
Top 10 Traps that Summon Themselves As Monsters
Top 7 Attributes
Last one boring. Make it top 5 attributes that aren't light or dark
None of the trap monsters are decidedly good though. Except maybe the lvl 10 slime one, but only because its a free lvl 10, not because the card itself does anything useful.
@@catisreckless4647 True, a free level 10 is pretty nice, especially for high rank XYZ monster summonings.
@@catisreckless4647 What? Paleos are really good, in fact the slime god is probably the worst one if it even gonna make it to the list.
@@CrnaStrela Yeah, I had forgot about Paleos (sad, seeing as I had made a Paleo/frog deck >.
Great vid DuelLogs! My favorite level 9 is World Legacy Guardragon Mardark. I use normal monsters alot so it fits perfectly.
He's basically the boss monster of my blue eyes deck in Duel Links and is probably the only reason I ever win matches lol
Yeah, nerfed ATK of opponent's monster is quite good. Like Aroma Cananga.
I use that too! In my duel links ojama deck.
When in doubt I can always count on Mist Wurm and Cipher Blade Dragon 🔥
My thoughts when I read the title: "Good boy Trishula and the other 9 best level 9 monsters"

I've mentioned in the comments of a few videos, I think it would be interesting to see a list of Normal support cards. The game now has a plethora of effect monsters, many of which are considered key to specific playstyles and strategies but there are also quite a few cards that specify they only work with Normal monsters, basically, all the ones I'm aware of are from the early days of Yugioh but I wouldn't be surprised about some newer cards also specifying Normal monsters in some way.
4:32 I see what you did there
Just wanted to comment the same thing :D
Nice shiny pun there! 😅
@king zaxa
They do!
Iced out chains also are able to emit omnidirectional light of varying intensity depending on the retail price.
I'm kind of surprised predaplants dont see competitive use, I love using pure predaplants, it's so funny to have a really low level plant monster reduce their big monsters to level 1 and destroy them
Predaplant cards are pretty good, it's just that the mechanic it's pretty meh in the Link era, since even if you combo off and leave every single monster level 1 with no stats monsters and no effects, They can link them off... Predaplants really need something broken to do with Predaplant counters outside of their 3+ fusion
Generaiders are quietly weeping as none of their monsters made it, lol
I don't know if any of them are good, but if so, one of them might have made it if it weren't for the whole panic currently going on.
Top 10 worst cards in the best archetypes? Cards meant to be included with some of the best strategies in the game that just don’t fit or work at all

Dragunity Darkspear
Dragunity Javelin

I'd love to just see wholesome top 10s like. "DuelLogs' top 10 favorite level 8 monsters" or Top whatever Favorite cards. I think that'd be very cute :)
Shame there's no Generaiders on this list, but I AM happy to see True Draco represented twice. Hoarr and Jorm together can *generate* you a teremendous amount of advantage will also costing your opponent a few cards, but I suppose the set up required to do that and it being archtype limited kept it off the list.
Oh, and great job as always, mate!
I have the ice barrier deck and was not disappointed at all, and now it is my favorite/main deck
Hi, thank you for your video ! I love your deck, i love how you build them !
Right now i'm on your "law of the normal deck" !
Maybe you could do a "Exodia incarnate deck" !? Based on the unaffected monster !
I'd love to see something like "Top 10 useless cards when they were released that got broken and banned much time after"
1. Pre-erratum Rescue Cat. Kitty went from "what's the point?" to "single most broken combo card in the game" as soon as X-Sabers dropped.
Grinder Golem, Gofu
Block dragon
Mass Driver
He already did that. "Top 10 cards no one expected to be good"
Of any Level 9 monster, I like Scrap Twin Dragon since you can put cards back into their opponents hand by destroying a card you own. Perfect for cards with destruction effects such as Dark Coffin
Wow trish is number one.
Never thought it'd be her.

Pot of the forbidden combos with the prediction princess ritual and subterrors for a solid control deck 👌
You can still summon Triphy with monsters who have non-Dark attributes thanks to Field Spell Card "Lair of Darkness"
Void Imagination has a little asterisk. It doesn't work on Decatron as its original level is 1. So if you use Decatron's effect amd raise it's level, be very careful by how much or you might accidentally lock yourself out of further Infernoid summons, despite having Imagination on the field.
Top 10 archetypes that havent seen alot of succes/play but have potential if the meta is right/different. Buy you would obviously have to work on the title because its super wordy . Anyways love the content
Gem knights appear so much on these list I wonder if you might do a top 10 gem knight
Top 10 Fusion Monsters that have "Must be fusion summoned" or "must use the listed materials".
Oh, I have the #2 spot in Collectors Rare from Japan, I'm glad to know what it does now lol
Thank you for making these videos lol
I built a Prediction Princess deck that centred around getting Pot of the Forbidden into your graveyard and onto the field, the deck became... very level 9 heavy, so I through in True Kings. and the deck is... clunky, but it is still a lot of fun
I love these vids
Vermillion Dragon Mech is very good in Duel Links right now .
Do the Top 10 most used link monsters in the game or top 10 cards based of the anime !
Another video, another perfect fit for Deus X Krawler, and no mention. Big sadge. Great vid tho, even without Deus X
i love ur videos speacialy ur voice but i know it will be hard 4 u to make top ten lvl 4 monsters cuz all archtype have one good lvl 4 monster but iwait that list 2 see ur openun
You should do a list of the best rank 10 or higher machine xyz monsters, as that’s the specific type of monster you can cheat out the extra deck using number 27
It would be nice if they did a top 10 for each attribute of xyz monsters
IDEA: Top 10 meta decks that DID NOT rely on an archetype. Example: Dino Rabbits
Nice bro
Top 10 cards based on other Konami games, please.
Also, please do more Rescue Rabbit.
My favourite level 9 monsters are Immortal Phoenix Gearfried and Vermillion Dragon Mech
Also request for Top 10 banish retrievers
I thought Trishulas effect only worked if your opponent has a card on field, graveyard, and hand. And you have to select one card from each or no effect
wrong trishula bro, you are talking about the nekroz one
Facts. Preciate it!
Have you done top 10 foolish burial/mill targets? That would be an awesome list
The Buster Blader archetype makes good use of Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss cause Buster Dragon is a level 8 Dark Dragon Type Synchro, and Buster Whelp/Dragon Buster are level 1 tuners. Additionally, most Buster Blader players summon Buster Dragon with Prologue of the Destruction Swordsman, which special summons it straight from the Extra Deck, but destroys it during the next end phase, so it's a good idea to synchro with it before it gets destroyed.
I have an idea for a card: have a spell or trap that lets you banish at least one of your monster cards to grant another monster it’s/their full ATK/DEF so long as it’s on the field. With a second effect that should said monster be negated or removed from the field, you can sacrifice said stat boost to negate the incoming negate/removal, or take lifepoint damage instead if you need the monster and/or its ATK/DEF boost more then said life points
Or perhaps you can banish a/multiple spell(s) or trap(s) to apply its effect to another spell or trap already on the field of the same kind with a different name, but if said card were to be removed from the field, it automatically banishes any and all copies of both the buffed card and any cards sacrificed to augment it.
It took me hundreds of attempts to get the correct opening hand, but I somehow managed to use a Dinosaur deck to turbo Trishula, True King Lythosagym the Disaster and two Ultimate Conductor Tyranno simultaneously, and use them for True King of all Calamities and Super Dreadnought Cannon Juggernault Liebe. Had I had an even better hand, I could have summoned an Overtex Quetzacoatlus.
The combo specifically requires True King Lythosagym the Disaster, Miscellaneous, Babycerasaurus and Soul-eating Oviraptor. You can use the True King field spell card, Terraforming or Set rotation as a replacement for Lythosagym, and Ultimate Conductor Tyranno can replace Babycerasaurus or Miscellaneousaurus, and for optimal flexing you want either Quetzacoatlus or Tyranno in your opening hand as well.
Fortunately, almost any opening hand can allow you to bring at least 2 of those monsters, and that's more than enough.
If Ranks are included, the King of the all asses is probably going to be #1. (Just Started)
Shockingly, #2
Holy crap, i forgot about the level of #1.
Nah 95 is better
@@matteo964 vfd is literally better than this whole list as a stand alone card
@@superbaas8822 Imo, the top four or so spots are interchangeable, depending on your deck and what its trying to do.
Just wait till that Ice Barrier structure deck comes out
I hope we get more good main deck cards. You would think an archetype with banworthy synchros and a generic searcher thats a spell would be better
Top 10 'Draw 2' effects tied to a specific archetype
Yang zing path would make it in the list I guess
Pantheism of the Monarchs
There's also a Six Samurai card, that lets you send it from field to GY to draw a card for every Bushido counter on it (max 2) So you can use it to draw 2, though most will use it for counter generation
Destiny draw is probably #1
Technically can draw 3 cards, but my vote for most powerful draw card tied to an archetype has to go to Folgo. Being able to go plus 4 every turn is insane. You can bet if Fur Hires ever get support that makes them even consistent rogue tier, Folgo is going straight to the ban list in some capacity.
and his naME IS TRISH-CENA! _(BA BADUM BAAAAAA)_
This one
Highly underrated comment
Top 10 "bad" cards that saw competitive play. Like kaminari attack that only sees play because it's a thunder monster and instant fusion target for thunder dragon decks. So i want to see if there are similar cases of cards that are bad in a vaccum but by some strange synergy are useful
makes me kinda wanna see a countdown of "best of hits level" where each spot is the level of the monster.
I was the reason Trish and Brio were banned. I played a super cool infernity loop combo to bounce trish with brio

Video Idea: Top 10 Link 5 Momsters!

I think Chaofeng, Phantom of the Yang Zing should get an honorable mention cause he has the same effect like True King Calamity and gets even more bonuses from the Yang Zing archetype like being immue to traps/traps and battle or even get a +500 Atk boost which makes him 3300 and can shut down decks. Ive won many games using him since players are usually playing just a few attributes.
Prediction Princess Tarotrei and Pot of the Forbidden make a mean lvl 9 combo, plus they can go into True King of Calamities whenever the need arises.

Nobody ever remembers my ship Enterblathnir :(
Nontargeting banish from anywhere. Use a Trishula to banish one card from the opponent's hand, then overlay for Enterblathnir to banish another. Semilimiting Trish would make this card's hand destruction power seriously scary - except VFD is so strong everyone would always make it.
That's the tragedy of the rank 9 toolbox: at first they were too weak to be played, having only one good card; then they got a card so overpowered there's no reason to ever summon the other ones.
I watch the title: all calamities number one.

What about Valkyrie Sigrun? It's a lv9 light-fairy main deck monster with 2200 atk (this gives me 2003 flashback), with the following effect:
U can destroy a spell/trap u control to special summon this card from your hand, and if it's summoned, special summon any lv8 or lower Valkyrie monster from hand or grave.
