Not the entire truth he points it at them not long before the Pinkertons show up even if it’s for a second he still ends up siding against Arthur and John. I don’t get why everyone brings this up to try to make Javier out to be a “good guy” but even if he didn’t point his gun he still chooses to betray his so called brothers 😂 so either way he’s a dick…..or at least this is all my opinion.
@@VibrantZer0listen this is red dead not everything is black and white, so its pure speculation on your part when u say "Javier joined Dutch" He didn't join anyone, he ran away but he realised in that moment the family he loved was over. In the epilogue u don't hear anything about him being with Dutch or Micah. Javier is a tragic character but his not a bad man. And you know it too.
I still don't understand why Arthur even went back? The gang had almost completely disbanded. I understand he was pissed at Micah but did he really expect Dutch to believe him based off of Milton's word alone? For all he knows, Milton could have just been talking to unnerve Arthur. I guess it's just a matter of "that's the way it is".
Closure, maybe, or one last attempt to see if he could make Dutch see sense. Arthur was dying and he knew it, so he really wasn't risking anything by trying. That said I wish he'd just capped Micah in the face as soon as he rode in.

I just wanna point out that Javier had his gun pointing up not at Arthur's side, he was just weak and gave in to the pressure

@@brianu2229 I think he would have been perceived to be the traitor if he just shot Micah like that. He had to at least try to appeal to Dutch
