- Brought over from across seas the Equus is supposed to compete with larger luxury sedans of 50+ dollars. With a 10 year 100,000 miles and some of the best value for money you can buy, the Equus is a great contender for the market of a quality luxury sedan. The only way to truly appreciate the efforts and quality of craftsmanship put into this flagship is to check it out in person and I strongly recommend it. For people that love value for money, the Equus just about the only choice. They are just now arriving into showrooms. In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Hyundai Equus Signature. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I don't know why, but I like the little chimes it makes in the interior, both before the car starts and after the ignition is shut off.

I remember my neighbor waiting at the bus stop every day in her Hyundai Pony, back in 1995. I can't believe that 16 years later, this is the same company.
The Equus looks great so far. I'm sure that many loyalists to established brands will doubt its success at first, but then again Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti were newcomers to the world of luxury cars only 2 decades ago and they turned out to become respected and highly-regarded brands over the last 20+ years, especially Lexus because of all the variety in their lineup.
I have one... they are beautiful man!.. mine silver black interior... all the gadgets this video just helped me learn my car more.

This Equus puts the LS460 to shame with it's more powerful V8. Hyundai is slowly weeding out the fake luxury car makers and offering more for less.

Even in 2017, with the look of this car and with all of the features plus the 400hp V8(2012) this is still the single best used or preowned buy(or steal??) in automotive history!!!!! Love it!!

The Equus's overall personality reminds me of what Oldsmobile planned with the original Aurora. No Hyundai badges anywhere on the car, rich luxurious interior, and powered by a potent v8.

Whhy do people say this car is a Mercedes copy? I bet you a Mercedes break down more and cost more for maintenance..every time a company made a luxury car people say its a copy, its a car and its luxury that made it Mercedes ya ignorant fools?
I must say that this is something I would have never expected in a Hyundai. I am just speechless that it is.
I do have to say I am really impressed with the design and quality of this car. I'm not a huge fan of Hyundai or vehicles from the east but this one is really nice.
Really gives the S-class a run for the money in terms of features and quality especially with the W221 which I don't like.

WOW This car has more luxury features than any German rival on offer I'm sure! If i was in the market for a luxury car this would be top of my list. Hyundai have stepped up and pretty soon they'll be overtaking the competition in terms of features and price. People who care about brands aren't car enthusiasts. A true car fan knows a good car whether it has the name or not!

I remember old Lincoln Town Car's from the 80's had those dual window switches on the rear windows, except without the sunshades of course. Just like that white one Kyle did a few months back.

I've got to say, this thing is absolutely gorgeous inside and out- and that chime- I could listen to it all day! I'd take this thing over a BMW, Mercedes, or Jag any day! It looks better than all of those!

These are massive bargains that are worth every single cent. Bought mine with 44,000 miles so it classified as certified pre owned with a three years warranty and it was 12,380 dollars for it...and my God I absolutely love it. Smooth, luxurious and if you put your foot to the floor you will be flying down the highway (and the sound system is God like)

I plan on purchasing a 2016 Hyundai Equus Unlimited here in the Michigan metro Detroit area at the end of May. My biggest concern is it really worth $23,000 to $27,000 with it being a rear wheel vehicle that's also 4 years old. I've been driving my 2001 Lincoln Town Car signature for about three years. I like to know from someone who at one point owned or still owns a Hyundai Equus who'd drived it year-round meaning in the winter with snow and summer time if the ride quality is better with the newer technology in the snow. Ultimately I like to know if the Hyundai Equus is better in the snow than my 2001 Lincoln Town Car which by the way is over 5000 pounds.

1. You would have to be blind to think the Equus lights are the LS's. They're completely different!
2. The MB grille is also used is many other car brands. However, Hyundai has used it for some time now, the grilles look very different in person. It isn't completely MB.
Just because it's a Hyundai/KIA doesn't mean it's a copy. Anyone want to tell me a car that resembles the current Sonata? Santa Fe? Veloster? Elantra?
I wish Hyundai Godspeed with their new and highly respectable lineup. The 2012 Equus' 429HP 5.0L V-8 and new in-house eight-speed A/T erases any doubt of who offers the most car for your money, not to mention a very high content level of top quality components.Throw in the best warranty, which shows long-term confidence in the product, then top that with clever pricing, and you have described an unqualified winner!

@LoveTheCity123 It's not really a rip off because this car doesn't even compete with the 5 series or E Class. It competes with the 7 Series, S Class, Audi A8, Lexus LS etc. You are probably right about it maybe becoming rare because we Americans like to get caught up in brand names. That's why I think Hyundai should have made a separate luxury brand for cars like this. Many people are not gonna want to pay so much money for a Hyundai.
