- The rising tide of our civilisation has not yet flooded the last peaks of the Alps. The Hohe Tauern mountain range is a high Alpine wilderness harbouring natural treasures that many people hardly know about, even from hearsay. Their intact habitats make them a Noah's ark of Alpine flora and fauna. At the same time, this is a world of mountains in the superlative, with the highest peaks in Austria, the biggest glacial surfaces in the eastern Alps and water falls that are among the highest in the world.The documentary shows a series of barely known, extremely shy or rare animals of the high mountains of Upper Austria for the first time. It took two years to complete the complicated shooting during which the camera team had to cope with the harsh conditions in exactly the same way the animals of these high altitudes do, to capture an intimate look into the secretive life of these shyest of mountain creatures.
Secrets of Nature is the best. The absolute greatest outdoor, nature, animal movies I've ever seen.

Where do animals find food in this barrent landscape?
Eagles, vultures, almost the same. Hienas, coyotes, almost the same. They all survive, on its own best. Humans and wild dogs, are a breed apart!
BOP seem to have good weaponry, speed, agility, reflexes, strength, sight seeing, balance, etc but seem to lack good smell, hearing, tasting, and touch although taste is probably there second best sense after sight seeing also there durability and stamina seem to be lacking as well
Seriously who is clicking dislike on this or any of these nature videos? I am really curious who watches this and says to themselves, I hate this so much I'm not just going to watch something else, I'm going to first click 👎? Who goes out of their way to disparage a video like this ?
Possible reasons for dislike
1. Offended
Politically: Believing that this shows or talks about evolution? Or talks about man's ruining of nature and for some reason they can't handle the facts as presented?
Religiously: Talking about or showing mating?
Morally: don't like seeing animals kill one another?
2. Hate for the channel: could there really be that many enemies of the channel?
3. Bad production value, audio, video issues?
4. People who just want to be backward and mean?
5. Accidentally hit the thumbs down?
Let me know if there could be any real reason to dislike the video that could account for hundreds of people to dislike. I'm just bored in hospital recovering and I'm just interested to further the pursuit of knowledge of human nature.
