I love the touch of fire in Sera's eyes. It shows that she's so warped in her beliefs that she's become no better than the "demons" she thinks the citizens of Hell are.
My brother. The video has been out for 11 minutes and it’s 43 minutes long.
@@jacksonmac5229 they've probably watched the episode before??
Even better, immediately after, when Em rejects her sister's excuses and lies, Em flies above Sera, and glares down at her with her _own_ eyes glowing also... but not with hellfire, with HOLY LIGHT in her eyes.
Em is above her sister's moral failings and is the one of the two that is filled with the Holy Light and reacting to the Exterminations in the way a Righteous person SHOULD be.
@@jacksonmac5229I'm fast like that. 😎♀️

if mean why hot ? :c
Oh buddy she had me since ep 1, her face reveal just fueled the fire that was alr burning within me 😭
Most of the reactions I've seen were shocked at how much she looks like Amity from The Owl House.
"Oh no, she's haaawt!" lol
@@CharginChuck Most? Really? I don't recall hearing anyone make that comparison yet. Well, a lotta people ARE checking the series out.
You see the spider like girl in the bottom left corner, that's Molly, Angel Dust's sister. Just a fun bit of lore I thought I'd point out. And it shows his being a good brother towards Niffty is from experience.
Whoops, I forgot the time code. 8:35.
@@watershipup7101 I'm glad she saw this! This is very cool info!

The way Charlie and Emily reprise the refrain of Hell is forever give me chills everyime. ❤ Emily is such a sweety, I love how she is Charlie's counterpart in heaven.
Definitely hit some Wicked Musical vibes.
It is literally the best part in the whole series. My mouth dropped open the first time I saw them singing in tandem it gave me goosebumps!
Out of the roughly twenty songs (I believe), ‘You Didn’t Know’ is in my top 3. Charlie and Emily’s moment _made it_
Interesting fact:
Sera is actually Metatron. Lucifer form the show is Sandelphon (not Satan) so Emily is actually Raziel aka the Christ.
@@TheRezro 😗……huh….

Angelic weapons destroy the soul. If you get get killed by them, your evil spreads out everywhere, that's why there's eyes everywhere. But if you die in Hell by normal means in Hell, it's painful as fuck but you respawn but feel it all
Also sinners who own souls can destroy the soul of their debtors without angelic weapons. Alastor said in episode 5 that he could tear apart Husk's soul. So if Angel doesn't come to the studio, then Valentino can break the contract and end Angel's existence.
@@zeleeba8774I don’t disagree with your statement…but I have a feeling that Alastor may of meant more to that threat than he let on. He did take out those overlords when first showed up in hell and broadcasted their screams on the radio. As far as I know, those overlords were never seen again…so did Alastor figure out a way to tear a mortal soul apart without the use of angelic weapons? I’m not really sure if those overlords disappearing have anything to do with his deal with the mystery person, or if it has anything to do with his powers being strongly linked with the practice of voodoo. I’m not really sure, but I am curious.
@@LuciLovesDucks What you say is true, but Alastor stressed that he would break Husk's chain. It's like his soul. So Valentino can break Angel's chain or break the contract, ending his existence.
Yes, Alastor overthrew the old Overlords without angelic weapons. He separated their souls from their bodies with some kind of spell after defeating them, then sealed them in his pocket dimension and tortured them until they gave him their souls and the souls they owned. Alastor wanted to do the same with Adam.
@@zeleeba8774The body IS the soul, you can't separate them
@@riccardomosena4162wrong, you absolutely can. The writing team have already officially declared that when a sinner is killed with an angelic weapon, their body and soul are separated
The weapons don't really kill the soul though. The Sinner's soul wanders hell, invisible and untouchable, until they merge with some item.
Sr still don't know. If the soul can communicate with people (like Alistor's candy in the pilot
My favorite little detail in this episode is how the Angels react when Charlie says F*ck but don't bat an eye when Adam does it, it really shows their implicit bias.
Fair, although I think Emily’s more shocked that someone like Charlie would swear, considering she’s very open-minded, and even says that the angels are “bringing misery to thousands of *innocent* people”
Can we take a moment to appreciate how much Angel Dust has grown as a person? The way he protects Niffty and stood up to Val. He's come a long way from his pilot self. I'm proud of our Spider boy. Also, the way Charlie and Emily reprise the refrain of "Hell Is Forever." with new lyrics that call out Sera and Adam's hypocrisy is just glorious. "You Didn't Know" as a whole is amazing, but that part hit's especially hard.
yepp, i honestly thought after the fight he would earn a place in heaven aswell.

Thinking back to Vaggie’s lines in Whatever It Takes, those definitely hit differently now that we have context. “When I saw your face, you made me feel like a stranger in a brand new place, and it felt so good to be understood, there’s so much that I wish I could say.”
So Vaggie’s love language is Acts of Service, which makes sense seeing as she was in the Exorcist army, where you’re literally just trained to follow orders and that’s your whole worth. So for her to lose all that, and then meet Charlie who is possibly the first person to show Vaggie true love and affection, of course she’s going to become undying loyal and devoted to her. That’s the only kind of love she knows how to give.
As for her making herself into armor/an inanimate object, I think Husk said it best. Vaggie hates herself and again, a lot of her self worth is tied into being the protector, the spear, the person who will make Charlie’s dreams a reality at the cost of herself if she has to. Which…. Frick me they really need to have a conversation about that, get this girl a therapist please.
Also, unrelated, but for as much of a shit person Lute is…. I love her voice. Literally my favorite part of You Didn’t Know. 10/10 have listened to that specific part again and again.
As someone who's also got some issues around being valued only for being useful, I relate a lot to Vaggie and similar characters. Any time there's someone who's been trained/abused into thinking of themselves as an inanimate object with an arc about learning how to actually be themselves, it strikes home, and I hope Vaggie can have a bit more of that arc next season.
I cannot wait for Lute's villain song next season, I'm 1000% sure it's gonna be an absolute banger. Don't even make her share the spotlight, just have her solo that shit out.
@@DarthRayj I have learned something interesting - not sure how much it is a theory or implemented in the show. The reason for Exocrists to have the mask and have the right eye cancelled out with an X, is that while the left eye is the intellectual one, the right eye is connected to affection. In the Bible there is a part that talks about gauging out the right eye if it causes "stumbling in one's duties". So they cancel out the right eye and that is why can they kill remorselessly. Vaggie however did not have the mask on at all, when she was chasing the Cannibal kid. I wonder if she took it off while having remorse already, not wearing her mask at home and thinking about what she was doing, or all that happened to her was literally only because she have lost/decided not to wear her mask.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the “Stick it to the man” reference Alex Brightman got to make- a nod to his character from School of Rock
Thank you! Finally somebody else who noticed it! 😅🙏🏼
REAL! I love Alex Brightman sm omfg
The orb showed an image of Angel beaten up, bleeding, trying to cover himself, and Lute STILL had the audacity to call him terrible things. That moment hurt
God, that's every day where I live ... adjacent to a homeless encampment. People get so cold towards the people there, especially when they see a problem that seems unfixable and feeling empathy would overwhelm them (not that Lute is any danger of feeling empathy).
That and the blatant homophobia is why I started seeing her as worse than Adam then.
@@JohnZ117 honestly I have no idea if she’s homophobic or doesn’t approve of the relationship between an angel and a demon. Adam likely interpreted it as in reference to a queer relationship, but I’m not sure if it’s clear which Lute was actually talking about
@@cherryblossombvllet The sung rant about Angel Dust is what I was referring to.
@@cherryblossombvlletI think Lute was being homophobic, she said their love was vile. That is definitely homophobia.
"DO WHAT WAS REQUIRED"
Might be my favorite moment in the whole series. The visuals are amazing, the voice is perfect, with that hint of instability and pleading for Emily's understanding, and it perfectly summarizes the whole point of the show: if you base your actions on fear, fanaticism and conviction about rules you can't even know about, you will be a villain, even if your intentions are "good".
Between that and her line about there being something Emily doesn't know about... I'm actually wondering if there is more reason for her to let the extermination happen than just general fear mongering
@@rickypedia999 I think she got really scared about what Lucifer did just after creation, and about Lilith rallying up the sinners. She knows what can go wrong, but she chose the most cruel method, while refusing to listen to any different opinion.
I can't wait to see how she'll react in season 2 after the revelation in the finale (no spoiler here), but I'm afraid she'll try everything to keep it a secret.
Same we barely saw Sera but I already LOVE her character. She's definitely lawful evil but I genuinely think she cares about Emily and is acting out of fear, and also willingly staying ignorant about the worst parts of it. Also the VA's voice is heavenly (no pun intended)
@@hkokoo She's the halfway point between the evil angels and the good ones, her character is soooooo important. They did a wonderful job with her 💞
Sera is so overhated. She is by far one of the most interesting characters.

@@alansmithee419 Bonk her on the head with the handle and go "No, that's a bad girl", I'm sure. lol
I have a theory that Emily was Lucifer’s replacement, which is why she is so similar to Charlie, since Charlie takes after her dad.
Also love how Adam’s list is exactly what got him kicked out of Eden in the bible.
I've got my own theory about Emily... but it's connected to a spoiler from the season finale
@@rickypedia999 Can you talk about your theory?
Maybe put a Spoiler warning at the beginning and add a couple of line breaks so that people who haven't seen the finale can skip it.
this is exactly my theory as well. i just never knew how to word it
@@kuhmuh2357 Emily is clearly the Raziel. The big theory is that Eve is the big villain of the show.
@@TheRezro I've heard about Eve being the root of evil in the show or something like that but who's Raziel?
I haven't looked up that much lore outside of what's presented in the show.
30:59 I’ve been saying that for the last month! It’s good that Angel/Anthony is looking out for her, but we shouldn’t forget that Alastor enlisted Nifty’s service personally. If Alastor saw potential in her to keep her around just as he did with Husk, it’s stands to reason that she’s pretty powerful too, perhaps even a former Overlord as well. Also, her thing is an obsession with killing bugs, so that’s probably also why she ripped Valentino’s coat, because he’s a moth demon. She wanted “a taste” of getting to kill him too.
She is most definitely an Overlord as well, as we can see in the pilot a dhafowy figure amongst the overlords that look a lot like Niffty and Husk. The fact we got Husk confirmed as an Overlord in the series makes me think that Niffty is 100% an Overlord too; as the shadow that looked like Niffty looks significantly like her, more so than Husk's shadow did.
Just wanted to correct something, that wasn't Valentino's coat, that's his fur, it's part of his body.
Just a note Sera and Emily are Seraphim just like Lucifer however Sera is one of the elders, also Emily may be Lucifer's replacement considering she is so joyous a lot like Lucifer and Charlie.
Adam and likely the Exorcists like Lute (Lieutenant, really creative there Adam...) and Vaggie were humans now angels called "Winners" but made into soldiers and referenced in Adam's first song "are they Winners or are they Sinners"
Are Vaggie and Lute actually former humans though? Considering she doesn't seem to dispute the whole "I named you" part (just the pronunciation); considering there are hellborn beings it seems safe to assume there are heavenborn beings too which is what I would guess the exorcists are.
@@Vael221There are several reasons why the Exorcists are likely human angels like the Winners.
First, Vaggie still has her back story of about being a human which includes coming from a South American country (forgot which one) and she still speaks Spanish but the other Exorcists don't which wouldn't make sense if she was only from heaven.
Second, Adam calling her "Vaggie" is just like him shortening lieutenant to "Lute" and so she may have a real name, additionally Sinners often don't keep their original name like we saw with AngelDust and the same may be true for Winners and Adam may name/nickname the Exorcists.
Third, the Exorcists have been labeled as Adam's descendants which wouldn't make sense if they where heaven born like Sera, Emily, and Lucifer but were once human (I would need to find the stream where this comes from though so I count this as secondary info).
It makes sm sense if the exorcists angels were humans abused and tortured in life and now get the 'privelege' to slaughter the monsters that caused them misery
@@Gatermanthe only loophole of Vaggie being a winner is that she didn’t turn into a demon once she was banished into Heaven?
Lucifer is still an Angel after being banished, but it’s of course because she is a Hellborn demon. Lilith was immediately transformed into a demon when she was banished into Hell while Lucifer didn’t change at all.
Pentious became an Angel immediately by being admitted into Heaven. Shouldn’t Vaggie have been turned into a demon?
@@asafin100 She didn't die and get reborn like Sir Pent, she was just mutilated and cast down.
Having said that Lucifer was also cast down and has since developed a demon form, but he still has his angel form. It's possible we will see a demon form Vaggie in a future season.
During the "Everyone Is hot" line, there's a female spider there. That's Molly (I believe) Angel Dust's Sister
yep
yep
Hah, I love how you're so sceptical of heaven, and yet taking Alastor at near face value, especially during his song with Lucifer
A smile is truly the greatest weapon
its funny how alastor's manipulation works completely on the cast AND in real life among fans
Hear me out. This show's main theme is someone who may seem horrible could actually be good if you give them a chance. Didn't we all believe Lucifer was gonna be an a-hole? How about Rosie, I bet I wasn't the only one expecting her to be some creepy psychopathic cannibal crazed monster. This show has proven, time and time again, these hellish demon are more humane than we suspect and Charlie is right to say there is good in all of them.
So... I think believing Alastor is bullshitting and wanting to only manipulate Charlie is face value. Everyone thinks that, hell, Charlie pretty much states something like that. Maybe he thinks that too... I don't buy it.
I bet either he's gonna turn out to be genuine or he's gonna warm up to it. So yeah, I believe it's more naive to think Alastor is just a heartless bastard, like Mimzy thought, rather than actually believe in him, and that may very well be the twist about his character!
@@robertolanzone well yeah obviously alastor will likely genuinely enjoy the hotel at one point. during the first half of the finale, he even talks about how he could get used to it with niffty. but the thing with alastor is now, especially after his solo in the show must go on, he is clearly going back to his roots. aka, he will become more manipulative and self serving again. he is not a good person, but he isn't heartless. but he also isnt harmless. i think he'll probably be the last one to be redeemed tbh, everyone else in the hotel is already willing to die for it, and alastor was too, until he took the hit from adam and retreated.
hell during the song when he says "alastor, altruist, died for his friends", he looked genuinely terrified because he realized thats really what happened. it was probably a wake up call - he was getting soft. and keep in mind he was one of the most feared demons in hell before he went missing for 7 years. clearly he wants to keep that reputation as well, like the whole fight scene with alastor destroying all of mimzy's enemies. he is a very ego driven person, but i think inevitably he WILL get better, but he'll likely get worse first before he is willing to make a change
@@robertolanzone lmao bro is delusional.
Alastor is horrible person - a serial murderer, cannibal, torturer both in life and in hell. He owns thousands of souls, threatened to kill Husk for a word of disrespect, and forced Charlie into deal. Also, he clearly enjoys bringing pain to others.
Abd btw Rosie was nice because it were Alastor and Charlie she was talking too. She is still an overlord and still eats people.
"I see the good in Lute deep down"
Yeah, that won't last lmao
I still think Lute is good deep down after finishing the series I love Lute. She genuinely cared for Adam and his death was so heartbreaking
We might get lute to see the light in the end
Sera: "We are gathered here today..."
Kitty shows up.
Proof that cats are celestial beings
"To think someone as worthless as you landed Lilith's little hottie. **Deep Breath** _Grats on that, I guess."_
I love how you can HEAR the salt in his voice.
I saw this in a post somewhere but I love how Adam, Sera and Emily represent different types of religious folks. Adam represents those who use religion as a defence for their prejudice, Sera represents the traditionalists and Emily represents the younger generation who are more open minded to change but still have the fundamental beliefs
Yeah, and Lute is the fanatic extremist who has a black and white interpretation and will kill for it.
I just love love love “You didn’t know”. It’s like the show in a nutshell, the thesis statement, the crux, the cornerstone. It encapsulates so much; from Charlie’s building frustrations and righteous anger, showing secrets come out about the exterminations and Vaggie’s identity, seeing Heaven’s view on things.
I love seeing Angel Dust defended by Charlie and Emily, and him being proof that sinners can become redeemed
I get chills from Emily’s first lines, and then Charlie getting frustrated and calling out Sera. And you can see that sera isn’t pure evil, she does seem to care but thinks she has to do these things. And then you hate Adam and Lute but their bit goes so hard
"And you can see that sera isn’t pure evil, she does seem to care but thinks she has to do these things."
Look up "Banality of Evil."
It’s so refreshing to see a reactor who had no idea that Vaggie was an angel. It had been theorized for a while (much of it due to a leak) so many fans pretty much knew. Watching the lead up from you interpreting Vaggie’s discomfort towards heaven and actually believing Adam and Lute were talking about Charlie until the shoe dropped was entertaining to see.
Also, when you first thought Vaggie MOVED to Hell, I just went: 😬 “not exactly . . .”
*wheeze* the "dammit she's hot" at lute has me dead😂😂😂 that is me fr when i first saw her real face bwahaha i love your personality so much istg
Of course St. Peter sounds like a youth pastor lmao.
“Ya know jesus was also into skating, he’d think the Matrix was rad too!”
Ok I think Lute might be one of my favorite characters. Not only is she a fascinating villain with interesting motivations, she might just have the best singing voice in the show lol. Jessica Vosk nailed it
LITERALLY SAME! She’s one of those characters that I love to hate
I think You Didn't Know is such a good musical number and sticks out as probably one of my favorite songs in the season. Which the reprise of Hell is Forever is just the sugar on the cream.
20:17 The fact that adam actually sounded a bit unsure about being in heaven and Sera doesn't even give a comforting answer, she just waves it off-
If hell is forever then heaven must be a lie!! 🔥
If angels can do whatever and remain in the sky?
The rules are shades of gray when you don't do as you say
When you make the wretched suffer just to kill them again !
When you make the wretched suffer just to kill them again!
If you send them down to suffer just to kill them again.
Fun Fact: the 3rd "requirement" on Adams list is a reference to "Stick it to the man" in school of rock. It's sung by Alex Brightman the same person who voices Adam and Sir. Pentious, that's why its there.
23:27 I love how they react to her swearing, when Adam does much worse like 99% of the time.
2:39 If this is still cannon; If you get killed in hell then you just respawn, but if you get killed by an angelic weapon, you are permenently dead and remain as one of the many eyes that are on buildings in hell
that is. terrifying
This was one of my favorite episodes! ‘You didn’t know’ was my fav song (other than Recpectless)
Don't forget Val is a moth, so a bug, and we all know what Niffty does to bugs.
and more importantly, SPIDERS EAT MOTHS
They are going to pull a Bug’s Life on us:):)
(the grasshoppers bully the ants but then the ants defeat the grasshoppers just like how IRL ants eat grasshoppers)
Sera's obviously biased, but she said at the beginning that the trial was to determine whether sinners could be redeemed "into the heavenly realm". Since they don't know the rules for getting into heaven, and Angel Dust didn't just materialise, she's technically correct there's no evidence it works.
Just to clarify, because it was in the show but only in one line, at the end you were wondering about how souls get into heaven? Sera says during the hearing "We know when a soul arrives."
Basically, when it comws to human souls the angels arent choosing who gets in and whos kept out. They kicked out Lucifer, Charlie's out by association, and you saw what happened with Vaggie in this episode. But for human souls, ot appears to juat be a fact of the universe like gravity. The virtuous arrive in heaven upon death, just as sinners arrive in hell. It's immutable fact. But turns out not even the angels know what the actual criteria is.
I'm glad I'm not the only laughing my ass off at Sir Pentious negative rizz. When he said "because I'm having sex with everybody!" And the music ramps up I died 😂
I was so excited to see your reaction and I'm so glad you had so much fun as well as so much to say to every little part ❤
It's interesting that Adam KNEW that Angel was in the adult film industry. I wonder if he's been spying on them throughout season 1.
Sir Pentious, Husk, and Lucifer are the cutest characters in Hazbin hotel
okay so fun fact the spider angel girl at 8:36 is Angel Dust's sister
Which her name is Molly (like the drug) except that is actually her name.
I love love LOVE the character of Adam. He's like prime d-bag and so easy to dislike but at the same time so enjoyable to watch. The perfect antagonist and reminds me of most broadway villians.
“You didn’t know” is probably my favorite song in the series, it’s just so good. Adam and lute’s part is good, Adam’s accidental reveal of the extermination to Emily’s part, Sera trying to convince Emily, and then the hell is forever reprise and the reveal that Vaggie was an Angel. It’s all so well done and the song itself is amazing. I also really like the characters of the seraphims, both in terms of design and how they act. Sera is in the wrong but I do believe that she was only trying to help her people. Overall probably my favorite episode. The B plot is nice too.
Angel is the best boy. I love him so much! Charlie and Emily's song was a BANGER. I love that Emily starts questioning. She's pure good.
0:58 - Unfortunately that probably refers to the Pride Ring of Hell. 😅
6:28 - Interestingly, the Seraphim seem to have a bird-like appearance but transform to a more humanoid form for some reason when coming to meet Charlie.
36:30 - And here's a cool detail, Emily's extra eyes open when she sees Sera for what she really is.
Seraphim having bird like forms would explain Lucifer's duck symbology, and also parallels the owl forms of the Ars Goetia in Helluva Boss as they are upper hellborn royalty.
Your anger at realizing that Lute was hot got such a laugh out of me, lmao. Also, the build-up to the Sir Pentious joke of "Having sex with EVERYONE HERE" was absolutely perfectly executed by the show, one of my favorite moments.
For a week, I was waking up with the courtroom song stuck in my head, mainly the reprise with Charlie and Emily. It's so freaking good. At 6:27, you can see Sera and Emily's default angel forms for a brief moment, and then they transform to be more humanlike, for Charlie's benefit, I guess.
of course Adam would be the guy who invented the "gangsta S" drawing that every single human does, regardless of their country of origin. Also I love how he fucked up first on drawing it and scribbled over it LMAOOO
Adam and Lute are the worst of Heaven's "Faction"
Also, there was a good reason why Vaggie didn't want to go. And you saw it, She was scared of having Adam and Lute tell Charlie her Origins Lute's also the reason why Vaggie is stuck in Hell
Sera knew but Emily didn't know
are the worst? Why exactly?

There are two types of "good villain" in my eyes. The one you love to hate, and the one you hate to love. And they absolutely nailed both.
I fucking love Adam. He's comedically evil and goofy he steals every scene he's in.
And I fucking hate Val. He's so evil and warped you want him dead seconds after seeing he's on screen.
EDIT: Thinking about it there's a third type of villain I like too. But lets leave that one for the finale :)
I feel the exact same way!!
38:40 I mean, technically Sera was right. Despite Angel Dust’s improvement and progress on redemption, he didn’t ascend to Heaven. The whole point of the meeting was to see if there was a way to bring sinners into Heaven, and since nothing happened, the only thing to say is that there’s no evidence
I thought that the ones in Heaven make the rules and that's why Charlie tried to convince them
@catalina2611they don't make the rules but Charlie thought they did
My theory for Nifty is she was a 50's housewife that got abused a lot by her husband whenever anything was even slightly dirty until she killed him.
Personal head cannon, Nifty was a housewife in the 1950's to a very abusive husband, she would be beaten if there was a single uncleaned spot, thats why she is so obsessed with cleaning and bad boys in hell, (I also believe she probably murdered her husband and was put into an asylum) None of this is in any way mentioned in the cannon, so this is just the theory I came up with

8:17, 8:35, 10:01 - I was shocked and happy to see Molly make her debut. It's so sweet and I hope her and Anthony (AKA Angel Dust) meet up someday. It'll be so sweet for siblings to meet. And then Angel will tell about his mobster family .

my theory is that Adam was the first man in heaven, so he is the literal bar they use to judge who can come in and out of heaven. so while he's a douche and no one likes him, he never commited any crimes, so anyone who was bare minimum better than Adam was let into heaven while the rest go to hell
I love the detail that Angel doesn't put on his facade upon coming back from his rough day at work. Normally he'd act like everything was no big deal or hide the fact it was rough entirely (like he did with Husk in episode 4), but instead he's fully honest about having a cruddy day and lets himself act accordingly. Plus the fact that texting Cherri 'depressing shit' all day caused her to show up to take him for a night out probably meant that he didn't normally allow himself to vent to friends either. So Angel made huge strides in opening up to people, I'd say!
Also, I honestly do get the impression that Heaven is a pretty sweet place to spend your afterlife... provided you're not of a certain temperament. I'm sure there are plenty of rules (I'm sure there's plenty of stuff that would get you in trouble, especially 'sins'), but it sounds overall like a better deal than Hell (even without the exterminations). And we know from Vivian that being gay is okay in Heaven, and we know from Adam that un-wed banging happens there too, so it doesn't sound like it's Christian-levels of rules (at which point I'd say just send me to Hell 😛)
Also, it took me WAY too many rewatches to realize that Adam was talking about Vaggie at 10:30 mark. Obviously the show was setting it up to look like he's talking about Charlie since we don't know the... thing... yet, but upon rewatches it should have been obvious to me considering his reaction didn't make a lot of sense for his current dynamic with Charlie.
And as for Sera... I'd say she's worse than Adam purely because she acts all high and mighty about it while Adam is openly a bag of dicks and wears his douchebag badge on his chest with pride. I'd much rather contend with an open asshole than someone who puts on a facade of goodness (don't read that out of context, lol). Also, gotta be real... Adam's hilarious. A monster and a jackass, but I can't help but laugh at his nonsense. Especially the faces he makes.
I always say my favorite thing about this episode is the parallel between Sera, Lucifer, and Carmilla. None of them like the exterminations (even in the storybook intro to episode 1 you can see Adam grinning as he begins the attack but Sera looks genuinely sad), and they all had a chance to stop or at least attempt to stop them... But they all chose not to and to let all those other sinners die because they believed it was the best way to protect their daughters/daughter figures
I get chills every time I hear Charlie and Emily sing "If Hell is forever, then Heaven must be a lie!"
I'm betting on Niffty against Valentino. She can tear him several new ones, I believe in her.
Lute is an asshole, but adam is just so likeable so often
Don't you mean "Dick Master"?
It is so fortunate that they got such good voice cast for Adam and Lute. It makes them so much more tolerable that the voices fit them well and they can deliver all their jerkass lines in such a fun way. Also when they sing together it is magnificent.
“Damn it shes hot” to lute is SO REAL AHAHAHAH
I mean, Pen might have negative Rizz, but it goes so far it wraps around again. He offered to bang the place and MOST OF THE PLACE WAS IMMEDIATELY DOWN.
The way Nifty says "I'm the mess? 🙁" is so sad 😭
One time you're happy Adam is talking is when he states how dictionary references are lame.
don’t you love when weepy cuts out the “he blew his shot like the (no no word) in his mouth“ 😂
Heaven, the after life equivalent of seeing that amazing high class neighborhood you want to buy a house in then you meet the HOA counsel and learn their are more restrictions that a prizon ward.
I would love to see Angel in Heaven… mainly so he can reunite with his sister Molly. She’s the pink-dressed angel sitting on the floor when Saint Peter says “And everyone is hot!” and at the very end of the song.
When a Sinner / Royal is killed by an angelic weapon or normal hellborn die by any means their essence spreads into the surrounding area creating the wall eyes well their soul and mind cease to exist.
When a Sinner or Royal is killed not by angelic weapons they'll simply regenerate and if their body is completely destroyed they respawn however this is very painful.
So it's actually far less evil for people in Hell to "kill" each other than it is for the angels to exterminate them.
@@CharginChuck to my knowledge, rematerialisation is generally quite painful
@@CharginChuckKinda, it still hurts when attacked or "killed" but without it being permanent Sinners don't care as much and that's why there's so much carnage shown in episode 1 as those people will come back however angelic steel *used by anyone* makes it permanent also injuries like with Vaggie's eye.
Lower hellborn like Imps, Succubus, Hellhounds, Sharks, etc will perish to normal means even old age which is why they are a lot less prominent in the Pride ring as Sinners can easily take them out permanently.
You need to be good to enter heaven but adam as first man is exception and exterminators are just heavenborn
"Maybe Nifty will kill Valentino"
👀
“Ugh I hate val I never want to see him again…unless it’s his death” too real
I love the villains in Hazbin Hotel they're all so multi-dimensional and have beautiful designs. They're also well-written one can't help but love hating them. (I just love them though, I love me interesting villains.)
Weeby: "I think only Adam is bad I could probably fix Lute" ooooh. Honey noooo
why would vaggie and charlie break up? yes, vaggie lied about her past but charlie is the most understanding and forgiving person ever and she loves vaggie more than anything.
I love that in episode 3, vaggie makes trust exercises that are full military style, and in episode 6 adam says she was one of the top exorcists.
I like how Angel Dust’s sister is in “Welcome to Heaven”
THE EMILY SLANDER IN THE FIRST BIT OF THIS VIDEO HOW DARE YOU😭😭😭
Do NOT compare my man Adam to Val. Val fucking sucks and Adam is amazing.
13:36 I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only one who didn’t see that twist coming.
We learned last episode that a soul can be damaged (not sure if anyone can do it or just Alastor), so theoretically, Val could double-dead Angel whenever he chooses. That's why Angel keeps going back. There's also a fan theory that Angel can't get into Heaven without getting his soul back.
Emily is the preciousest bean of all time, and literally nothing will convince me that she's dating both Charlie and Vaggie at the same time.
If not gay polycule, then why gay polycule coded?
The ship name is Charlie’s Angels lmao
You know what? I ship it
I don't think Heaven is a bad place after all like some were speculating. It's just very strict and collectivist (I hope I'm using this word right).
So the way death works in hell is that if injured by normal means, a sinner will eventually be restored to normal.
However angelic weapons will permanently damage and kill demons. And it seems during purges angels just leave their weapons impailed in sinners. So some demons (like Carmilla Carmine) takes those weapons and smelts them down to make something else.
It’s save to assume Husk has holy coated playing cards, and Cherry has holy shrapnel in her grenades, Angel having blessed tipped Tommy Guns ect.
Lucifer Has an obsession for Ducks because he pictures himself as the ugly duckling and dreams on being a beautiful swan
Interesting that some Christians who have watched this show have been inspired by it, and perhaps even been improved by it. Not bad for an adult cartoon set in hell about demons.
I don't know but i really like Adam.
I love Adam. What a good antagonist
"I can fix her!" how every toxic relationship starts.😂😂
Vaggie literally has got that half dead rizz
I love how enthusiastic and passionate Webby is about almost everything !
Love the reactions!!!
I just recently found your channel about three days ago and I’m already loving your content. Your vibe is so much fun!! When I saw this post I got so excited!! Keep being awesome!!
What you said about not wanting to see Val unless he's dying. NO. I don't want to see him unless he is being tortured the way Angel was + Alastor being unleashed on him. Then he can die the slow painful death he deserves.
