- After an exploratory look at Motion Page in the previous video, today we are going to spend time diving head first in the world of GSAP Animations and Scroll Trigger with the new WordPress plugin called Motion Page. This app helps you create amazing animations without writing any of the complex javascript normally required. The goal is to build a number of different animations, see how the app works, and also test performance.

This is a game changer...... I hope they are successful I need this app and will be a customer for life...
Great session thanks man! I’m quite obsessed with MP already 😃
Watched you videos for a while Jonathan, we use Oxy on some sites and Kadence on others...your guidance works well for both. Purchased Motion Page the moment I received the email and its awesome however I am a beginner with this stuff :)
What you did with the soda cans (carousel type motion) is exactly what we are after for a site soon. It's great to see you, like us all hitting issues and just having to work through them.
Your vids are awesome and tell the guys...we need pin live asap please. :)
Take care, Pete from the UK.
Nice vid Jonathan, so much hype, it's almost painful not knowing when it comes out 😅
Indeed! They said “soon, a few days” during yesterdays video so hopefully early next week maybe :-)
@@Permaslug Yep, hope so, I want to start using it right away, seems like it will save me a lot of time.
Hi Jonathan, great vid. Thanks for this. Do you plan to do anymore with motion.page? Maybe for permaslug members?
Hi Jonathan, will you be going any videos on Automatic css? I’ve purchased today and would love you to cover it :-)
That's awesome, this is exactly what i was waiting for from years ! How about the generate code ? Is this clean, fast enough ?
How could you do the simple between-page slide transition using this plugin?
Great stuff as always, Jonathan! Animations look sick. Wonder how much they affect GTmetrix scores though.
Glad you liked it! My understanding is it will affect the page load speed very little. I will test this in the future
@@Permaslug Any test results yet? It has been two months now. Interested.
@@Permaslug Any updated here?
I've been trying this for hours but I can't get the background div to go behind the top div when I switch to absolute. It's driving me crazy! Even after wrapping it in the other div and everything
Did you check out the soda can website on mobile!?! Sick vertical scroll of the cans.
Do animations work well at the smartphone level?
Please help, I set animations I wanted in motion.page builder and saved them for the homepage, when I go to frontend it is like nothing was saved but if I reload builder they are there and working in backend..
I don't find any tutoriel about Metabox dashboard custom Post type with Oxygen.
Does this plugin create an Html file and CSS file? Where is the CSS stored and how can it be accessed?
Will this work with Astra and Gutenberg blocks? also can the CSS and html code be copied and paste into my child theme and functions.php?
Hi Jonathan.. I was about to buy Motion Page when I noticed the lack of updates. Is this product still supported?
Can we add these GSAP animations with a Oxyextra slider to animate all slides?
You would probably have to set up an animation with a stagger delay set to whatever your slide transition is so that the animation doesn’t take place off screen. I have no idea if this would work, but I feel like it could!

Your doing more struggling then showing gsap animation
You need to keep it simple, too much jiggling around
