A lot of what you learn in classes may not be used, but some of it is important. The specific techniques, how to get into your character's mind, allowing your emotions to be available, and feeding off of the other characters/actors/situation are all important things that are taught.

It's debilitating and if you want to be an actor you have to really love it because it forces you to tap into those deep rooted feelings that you really, really dont want to but have to if you love the craft. My point is; acting is not faking. These actors tap into real emotions, and it's hard on the mind. But hey if you love to entertain you're gonna have to dig deep and suck it up. It's all part of the performance.

Love Aaron, one of my favourite actors 100% and as a whole Breaking Bad is a lot better than Game of Thrones. Peter Dinklage's speech during the trial in GOTwas legendary and that scene is still talked about today, however Aaron's portrayal of Jesse Pinkman especially during the last seasons was just on a whole new level. He brought that character to life.

Its relatively easy to do a character that is either just serious or just comical than a character who goes from all the stages of happiness, excitement, thrill, pain, remorse, regret and what not. To switch out of the emotion but staying in the character is remarkable.

Perhaps the biggest tribute to Aaron Paul is the caliber of the other competitors for that Emmy. Every one of them, in another given year, could have easily walked home with that award. It may have been the best field of candidates in the history of that particular award.
I completely agree with you. A small part of it may be due to directors having a certain face and physique in their minds for the roles so it's just about the acting skills. Another reason may be that he's auditioned for roles and hasn't gotten them because he may not have wide range of acting skills and Jesse Pinkman was just the role for him.

Aaron is an amazing dude. You see interviews with other cast members like Mrs Pinkman for example and they all say he is such a nice guy. It's funny I thought Walking Dead was the best show ever and then I got through Breaking Bad and it is the best. Acting across the board is superb, the writing, production and music too.
There's something about Weird Al sitting behind Jon Voight that I love.

I was surprised too. Humble down to earth champ! I did not know that Aaron Paul was like that. This is a very nice surprise. I first saw him on breaking bad, and that’s a fantastic character progression. Fantastic! Both him and Bryan Cranston deserve the prizes they earned!

Perhaps the biggest tribute to Aaron Paul is the caliber of the other competitors for that Emmy. Every one of them, in another given year, could have easily walked home with that award. It may have been the best field of candidates in the history of that particular award.

I completely agree with you. A small part of it may be due to directors having a certain face and physique in their minds for the roles so it's just about the acting skills. Another reason may be that he's auditioned for roles and hasn't gotten them because he may not have wide range of acting skills and Jesse Pinkman was just the role for him.
