No doubt. That was some crap-talking from a big companies to sell their overpriced poops with predatory monetisation inside.
I think that you have to look at from wider perspective. PA vs there peers in the industry. The gaming industry is going into a pretty hard headwind as there was a lot of money poured into games during the pandemic. There were some very unique challenges during this time and a lot of investor money poured into the space and now that money is leaving as things normalize. That's why we have seen a lot lay offs and games just being canceled that are well into development. Typical business cycle and the gaming in general is on the downtrend. Companies that able to outperform on the down cycle are better situated to take advantage on the next up cycle.
What if Pearl Abyss said they were shutting down every server except the Korea server and if PC players wanted to keep playing, they had to make a new account because they weren't gonna port any accounts for anyone? That is what its like when PC players tell console players to just swap to PC; a complete disregard for the: time, money, and effort already expended, on a platform that gave empty promises at the start that it would someday be on the same footing as PC BDO. Its not for lack of trying my dude, PA denies our request for an account transfer at every turn. My friends and I have over 20 tickets each requesting PC transfers but get denied at every pass. Honestly, I'm only sticking around on console to see it die and hope that in a last ditch effort that PA decides to try and salvage some revenue, and that they will allow players a transfer to "keep" loyal customers playing their game when they inevitably decide the profit made from the console side doesn't justify the cost to run it. Keep taking the cheap shots blue, if we gotta build a whole system to keep playing, why spend the money on a game that wont honor its player base with a transfer. It should be telling that every Console streamer you interviewed on the state of console stream agreed that, given a transfer to PC, they would take it.
We have some countries on EU servers who cant have RNG boxes - Belgium for example, they are just blocked from buying them.

Doa. Everything I've seen is meh. Where's a cool boss fight? Wheres.an interesting story or progression system? Just makes me want to say they need to replace bdo servers and engine and stop spending money on aide projects that are single player anyway. It's not dragons dogma.

Console bdo SUCKS…. I played it at launch and quit when they merged PlayStation with Xbox and tons of people lost their family and character names, me being one of those people I had alt accounts and everything with cool names I was using all the time swapping back n forth and then half of them just poofed the day Sony merged with xbox
