At 0:50 you can see Dwight's looking at his watch to time the exact moment where calling for the big company's busiest hour to not get a reply. He also timed the moment Jim would finish his talk and let the customer refuse their offer, then signaled Jim the exact moment when he's supposed to talk about customer service before we hear "please hold" from the phone. Dwight's doing the psycho work, and Jim's leading the conversations accordingly.
That was amazing way to close the deal... Short, compact & effective... Jim & Dwight may be totally opposite personalities, but their teamwork was awesome...
I wish they had more scenes like this where they showed that even though it's shit and giggles most of the time, when it comes down to business, they get serious and absolutely slay at that. Which also is a good explanation as to why the DM-HQ puts up with Michaels bs for so long. I liked the show better when it was more rational rather than comical. It was way funnier when the characters actually stayed in character and the sketches haven't become absurd and non relatable
