    Thank you so much for the demonstration. I tried this on my Annona Reticulata (Bullock's heart / wild sweetsop) 10 days ago. I'm glad to see many flowers developing into fruit stage. It was the last phase of flowering. Missed some large portion of flowering days. Had I seen this video long back, probably would have had enough flowers developed into fruits to distribute to whole neighborhood. Although I did not find 100% accurate results, it is somewhere 70-75% success rate after hand pollinating. Earlier it was hardly above 15%.
    Thank you so much
    Edit: Done with the last fruit of the season today. Had an abundant quantity of sugar apples this season due to hand pollinating. Success rate was impressively high.

    So, after you pollinate it, it still switches to a male, and then you can collect pollen from it? Even though it's already pollenated? That's nuts! BTW that was the weirdest three-sum I've ever seen. Or two-sum I suppose?

    • @TnTranN
      @TnTranN  Před 2 lety

      Female flowers will turn to male stage with or without pollination. For flower to produce fruit depends on when the female flower is pollinated, it’s not 100%. Just keep pollinating and you’ll see some fruitlets develop.

  • @84tilburg

    The second year my atemoya note 5 fruit, since then I get a lot of flowers, after the leaves fall off the fruit shrinks, dries and falls off the tree. I fertilize the tree every 3!months and hand fertilize it. It’s been two years with no fruit.
    What am I doing wrong???

    • @TnTranN
      @TnTranN  Před 4 lety

      Atemoya don’t lose their leaves until April. Fruit dying due to tree not being able to support it which means some kind of systemic issue starting at the root system. Could be from overwatering.
