5 Tibetans for me are totally precious gem. I do it every day ( 3 rounds 7reps each exercise) as a morning routine, about 4 years. In 4 years I got a very nice toned body with amazing mobility and flexibility. Great stuff. I recommend them for everyone

I'm 76 and have incorporated this routine into my daily yoga practice. I do these every morning. I'm up to 19. I started out with 3 and increased 1 each week. I believe that proper breathing, strength, and flexibility are the keys to a healthy body (as well as what you put into your body). As far as the spinning, I am surprised that as you progress, you get less and less dizzy. It has to be good for balance.

My husband and I swear by these exercises!! I got rid of painful sciatica suffered 3 days...husband said...do my exercises...Bam...even just 1 set of doing half assed...when I got up from floor...TOTALLY GONE! Then year later had out of this world head ache (blessed at 72 to never get headaches) but this was a doozy! Again, husband said...do my exercises...did 1 set..again half assed...got up praying all the way back to couch...I sat on couch waiting...waiting...GONE...NATTA!! Just hour ago...husband that had been suffering for 4 days with shoulder pain and no chiros were available on Thursdays! So after using all the oils and zapper and different things to help...to no avail...guess what I said...go do your exercises! He did and hallelujah!!!! He walked back into kitchen standing straight up and no sharp pain...just a tiny something that was nothing compared to last 4 days! These guys do a great, quick easy job of explaining how simple it is. EVERYONE should do these exercises EVERYDAY! We sure are now...kind of forgot about them...but never again!!!

First of all thanks for the demostration. This is one of the good videos I've seen and the view is wonderful.
I have been doing these exercises since 2000 or so on and off. In the last three months I began to do at least 5 times a week.
The whole 21 set takes about 5-6 minutes and very easy to do once you began doing each day.
And it definetly gives energy and makes you feel real good.
One trick may be doing it like in the evening when you feel most low (if you are to stay awake till 12-1 especially)
Believe me doing these plus a nice 4-5km walk each day is all you need.

    • @johntheroux832
      @johntheroux832 Před 5 měsíci

Starting out at 21 is more than likely too much. If I remember correctly I started out at 10 and then added 2 each week until I got to 21. I should note that a few years back I had to have a pacemaker installed due to low heartbeat pulse (bradycardia). At that time I pretty much sarted over at 10 again and added a couple each week. If one overdoes it, it's easy to get discouraged as you suggested. Good luck with the rites, it's worth it regardless of age. @@lindaniemeyer7575

The so-called "5 Tibetan rites" are pleasant - and probably efficient in a certain extent - to practice, but, for your information, they have nothing to do with Tibet ! They are the invention of a western occultist (most likely close to - or from - the Theosophical Society) in the first half of the twentieth century.
There is a Tibetan yoga, but it is very different from the "5 Tibetan rites"... It is called Nejang yoga. You can find demonstrations on YT by dr Nida Chenagtsang or Christiana Polites.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your clear and complete explanation as well as for the beautiful booklet that you make available. 🙏

The breath is important to not stop breathing. I found the spinning in the Southern Hemisphere should go anti clockwise. The first exercise is said to go together slow down. The fourth exercise it says ,that with out stopping to breath you tighten for a split second all muscles. Then relax when you sit and then start again.

I'll be honest : can't focus on this video because this handsome man who's speaking is totally distracting me.
I solved the "Problem" :) just previewed to the first rite. :) But now there's second problem: the beautiful landscape.
    AWWW. (:

When I perform the 3rd rite (called Table Top, here) I do not sit between each movement. I saw on line on another site where the rite was performed as much as possible w/out sitting/stopping between each. I felt it gave me more strength. Do you feel that is improper? Could not download the Guide. Thanks.

I just started these and feel a difference. On the fourth rite, I do not have the wrist flexibility for my hands to turn inward. I have to have my hands turned away from my body. Can I progress onward To the five reps? Or do I have to wait till I can gain that wrist flexibility.
