Can any Hindi music lover forget the fateful day of 4th Jan 1994, the day when legendary music composer, director and arranger, in short 'Maestro' RD Burman 'Pancham' left all ofus for heavenly abode so prematurely , very unfortunate that crores of his fans across the globe including me with trail of sadness, Pancham Da was one who was such a creative individual that nobody can ever match him in composing tunes, songs, background music with nature touch and innovations, he ruled the Bollywood on his own terms when at the helm but later at the near end of life he suffered heart attack and undergone bypass surgery, moreover, the misfortune never comes alone prior to that although his composition were execeptionally amazing but flims were not getting hit,producers those use to beeline him left him in lurch with superstitions that Pancham is no more lucky mascot for them, all such moves left Pancham heartbroken as a result he suffered attack but he said the heart surgeon that 'You repaired my heart now I shall repair my destiny' and he proved it, producers advised Vidhu Vinod Chopra that do not take Pancham but Chopra prevailed upon others by signing 1942 A Love Story & RD was again widely acknowledged as outstanding composer but it shortlived, this happened to be his last film and he left this cruel world for composing music for God, now old and new generations of music lovers suddenly realized what a man he was? He is virtually being worshipped in present era and will keep on doing the act forever for RD he rightly deserved, Had he been alive at present, he would have been on top of music world by his mesmerizing compositions he may have won hundreds of awards all sorts and would have decorated the chair of judge in innumerable music reality shows to pass on finer tips to improve the art, he is immortal and would remain so, we love you Pancham Da.
