From Consumer Reports 2019 survey, Genesis, Tesla, Kia, Cadillac have the best lane keeping assist systems. Meanwhile, Audi, Honda, Lincoln, Acura were the worst.

Great effort Paul , Such a nice explanation mate :) , Can you make a video of different Gear types, CVT, Fully automatic, Dual Clutch and which one is more efficient it will be very helpful when buy a new car :)
@@CarExpertAus I think you may take different BMW ///M cars, as now they have all transmissions for their 3.0ltr bi-turbo cars, M2 (with DCT), M3 (M4) (with M/T) & M5 (M8) (with 8 speed TC & AWD setup). Just a suggestion, else you are an expert 😎
Thanks for the video. You answered some questions I had for a while. It's really well put together and nice to watch. Nice and positive - a refreshing thing in 2020. Keep it up! 👍😀
Can't wait till KIA bring out a big car like the Telluride or something new to try and compete with the big caravanning SUVs and shack up the status quo of that segment.
Thank the ex engineers from the car next to it, BMW, for turning the company around 10 yrs ago. They're clearly making cars very similar to German cars, keeping up with them, and doing a hell of a good job at it. Same goes for Hyundai
Brother you are explaining each and every things clearly where people can understand easily. Its makes us too see next vedio you with interest. Congratulations and I am from India.
It would be really cool to see a comparison of driver assists between brands. There isn't much info available, and lane centering that constantly disengages is useless compared to one that is reliable
Fascinating. I wonder how small an accident would cause one of these to be a write off. I feel bad for the body shop repair guys cos the integration looks scary complicated. Thanks for the tech talk
I really like that last feature. I was in a tight car park with all bays taken on both sides and getting out was a pain. That feature would've been a life saver. Hopefully it trickles down to cheaper cars in the near future
Great video Paul and the team, like always! 😊 maybe a video on steering tech and/or lane keeping assistance tech? Loving the videos guys, waiting on that Mitsubishi triton dual cab Ute review 😆👌
Hey Paul, Great job mate. that'd be great if you could compare all the different technologies used in transmission systems, like DualClutch, TourqueConverter and CVT
Excellent. I've just ordered one of those Kia's in the UK, partly as the result of watching your videos. So thanks for that. I've decided on the diesel with DCT. The only diesel spec available here does not have the blind spot/surround cameras, only the reversing one. Doesn't have the sliding sun roof or head-up display either. The only thing that bugs me is that they omit fitting the driver's seat memory system and I really do like that, because my wife is 5ft3 and I'm over 6ft. First world problem that isn't a dealbreaker.
Great video! We just moved to a house w a rubbish drive/garage with hedges on one side and steep drop off on the other. I use reverse assist every time I’m in my wife’s X7. Great for us terrible drivers

It was a VW Tiguan & I was gobsmacked!😳 Two of my cars have it now but I haven’t used it. I still like to drive. As for parking sensors I just gaffer taped my 2 kids to the rear corners!🤣 Now I’ve just gotta find 2 more for the front!😂👍🏻
Thanks! Tough call - the BMW is much more expensive but it’s an incredibly nice car to drive. The punchy diesel is fantastic. But equally; the Sorento is one of my new favourites. It’s a great all rounder.
Please do a video on Kia infotainment Sorento GT display. I am needing help with the features on the system especially on the display on the steering wheel side. By the way love your efforts and videos
Hey Paul, great vid mate. I wouldn’t mind watching something on autonomous emergency braking. Not something you want to rely on, but I wonder how many cars would stop and how many won’t in a situation where the driver doesn’t react. Cheers
Superb and informative video!! Great work as always Paul. With more and more new cars( especially Germans) coming with fantastic features that one always has to pay so much money to get the desirable items as extra options, I was just wondering if you could also look into car comparisons of the same car (e.g BMW 3 series) with two specs, say one relatively standard and the other fully kitted to determine which spec offers best value or sweet spot in terms of tech. Thanks
More driving assistance like lane keeping assist, traffic jam assistant and semi autonomous driving please. I just attended the 4 series launch here at BMW Parramatta and have become really interested in the tech. It’s just so hard to keep up nowadays. Lol.
Reverse Assistant is cool, but the tolerances aren't perfect, so you gotta be observant. I used it to back out of a narrow entrance I drove into and it had moved to the right by about 20 cm and couldn't clear the entrance when reversing out.
Hi Mr. Expert! Good video again!👍 Make some more detailed videos on various ADAS, different types with transmissions, different types of Engine types like NA vs Turbo vs SC vs Hybrid & also on FWD vs RWD vs AWD, I am asking for bit too much, but they way you make it, possible budy! Wish you a very good luck for all your videos!
I would love to see at what speed can this parking sensors work best, does it work even if you are maybe reversing a little too fast, or you will have to be as slow as you were in this video.
Good question! I’d say it should work at the maximum speed of the car reversing. Mind you - if the ultrasonic sensor can only ‘see’ 3-5m ahead, perhaps the maximum speed would be 3-5m/s.
Let me tell u a secret, i have Nissan qashqai ti 2015 model, it has semi autonomous parking, never used that nor my wife uses it. In modern tech car, i would recommend to have good visual aid, apple or android car play for music n nav, easy to use cruise control, autopilot would be awesome. Oh yea, thanx paul, for awesome review. Next video, let’s dissect the car n check the gadgets. 😀
what is the best auto-pilot on new cars? some say Tesla + kia/geneses are the best... others talk highly about Mercedes and Cadilac (and some don't like them) .... but never seen anyone doing a side by side comparison
do one on interior comfort....include massaging functions, aircon speed, quality and others like audi have perfume functions within the aircon, also include sound system quality and loudness, soundproofing of the car and yeah something like that😊😊😊
I bought the new KIA and it doesn't have all this gizmos but adaptive cruise and lane is all that i need and it is quite impressive. now i am just worried that someone else might hit my car ;(
Is the radio frequency sensor version the kind that are used in cars with dynamic cruise control? Because I can’t imagine those first sensors could send a sound wave to a car in front of you driving on a loud highway.
Another great video Paul, so with that reverse assist, if you moved the mx5 into the path of the x5 once you'd done the first 50m would it use the sensors to stop the car during the route? If that makes sense?
On Kia Sorento can you actually activate a Front parking sensors in Sistem or you need press a button every time? I now that they activate when you go reverse but they don't activate if you just go straight to the object.
