- Today I am visiting a big vintage market in Toscana (Tuscany region, Italy) with my husband Fabiano and our friends Alessandro and Giulia.
This flea market takes place every first sunday of the month, and is located in the center of the town of Cascina.
Come shopping with us, we will find many vintage italian home decor pieces!

My husband and I spent three weeks traveling around Italy for our anniversary several years ago. I loved this video so much, it reminded me of the wonderful time we spent there. I purchased a few of the Florentine trays, and still use them for my jewelry. I adore the shelf you purchased too🥰.

Ive been vintage shopping for 45 yrs, now at 67 being faced with moving again, my home is really cluttered, its good you have an online shop
I'd have to go back to that last place with a truck if I lived in Italy. There was an unbelievable bed headboard & footboard (what do you call it when it's metal because 'board' just doesn't sound right) outside against the building. Anyway, it was metal and HUGE but painted it would be majestic. The rooms with the mountain of clothes and chairs I coldn't even contemplate, but the rest of it, and the market in Cascina, I could spend a whole day at each place. ❤❤❤

Sorry for the late reply, I'm glad you liked the mercatino and the store with the unbelievable room of the chairs 😂 I'm wondering if they keep it there just because it's something that makes the people speak about them, maybe it's a marketing choice! Otherwise, I still haven't got an explaination 😂

Ciao Aurora! I now live half the year in Toscana and I didn't realise the mercato di Cascina was so great! I will definitely go there as soon as possible. This weekend (if it doesn't rain too much) I'm going to a favourite market of mine in Vicopisano. I love Florentine trays too and have collected 4 so far, so I'm sure I'll be finding more! Yours are beautiful plus I love that Florentine shelf ...I would love to find 2 like that for my bedroom! Your haul was amazing...loved it! Thank you for sharing 🥰🤗😘

Hi Aurora so excited to see a new video. That flea market was amazing. I wish I had come upon one like that. I was only able to go to one flea market and only had a two hour time frame. There were only three vintage dealers on the street that I went down so I feel very fortunate that I was able the find the nice Italian items that I did. Now that I'm home and settled, I'm going to check out your items for sale and see if there is anything that I can't live without. ~ Aimee 😍

Many years ago radium was thought to be a cure-all.
You had better have that box tested. It could be radioactive.

9:47 There may be was no chain. That would move to much when hanging key to it. My Grandma had a similar one without chain. You simple put nails through the holes in the wall.

I will keep the rusty canister as it is 🤣, because the rust is not that visible on that cool floral pattern!
I have a spray that you can use to remove the rust (Fabiano uses it for old screws etc...) but then you would have to scratch it away and I don't want to risk to remove also the print! 😅
