- This Song was written by my Good you Tube Friend Graham (Thumbstrummer) he was kind enough to let me cover it.
I am an Insomniac unfortunately I really don't sleep very well and this song just really hit me in regards to what its like to be constantly awake in the early hours of the morning
Sleep Deprivation is a common form of torture and any medication only works short term your body gets use to it really quickly and there is only a limited amount of medication types that you can use which is all well and good if , but when you need to hold down a full time job as well..things can get very tough to say the least - Hudba
Sorry I'm late Stuart, been busy with a holiday followed by visiting family over Christmas. Anyway, I'm blown away, love what you've done with it. I always enjoy the sound of a 12er and the the addition of bass and electric guitar with effects is inspired. It's another pleasure to hear a cover of my song performed by a musician I always enjoy listening to. Hope you had a good Christmas and all the best for the New Year, I'm on my third listen now, wish I could play as well as you. Thanks mate.

Interesting and good cover, Stuart. The song was alreday covered by two other youtubers Wailin' Heino and BirdsEyeViewOfMyUke - being an insomniac is bad but today many people are driven into the insomnia status because of all the shift work. I used to work shift 20 years ago and while it was necassary in that job and I do not think shifts has to be in every job. The "avaibility around the clock" makes often no sense. People are getting ill because of not enough sleep. People who usually would be just healthy without that shift work.

hey this is awesome ! How did you do that video? What do you use for video editing? looks and sounds great ! I didn't sleep for 13 years taking care of my mother 24/7 . I would get no more than 3 or 4 hrs sleep a night so at least I don't have to worry about living too long ! I don't sleep either my friend and still cant even though now I can? Love the bass playing and 12 string ! We have to do a song again but I have to get up to date on my equipment !

I record all of this last between 3 and 7am when id given up trying to sleep...I recorded it all apart from the 12 string which I recorded before everyone else was in bed....My video editing gear is really quite old but easy to navigate around I use Serif Move Plus X3 along with Magix video cleaning lab and I think like you have... I use a Boss BR900CD digital 8 track and a red audio Condenser microphone and I record my Video in 1080p on a very good Fuji finepix HS28 EXR bridge camera which I purchased soley to record my you tube videos on
Rick I have a playlist of loads of my original instrumentals both Rock and folksier acoustic material which you are most wellcomer to browse through and if anything takes your fancy to put some lead guitar over the top I would be happy for you to do that...other wise I am working on a Blues number in E which I can leave a section for the obligatory guitar solo or solos..i would be honoured once I have got that together if you would spin some of your magic over it...I will record Bass Vocals and rhythm guitar and you can do what ever you want with it once I've done my BIt
what ever we can do together that would be great WOW i have the same boss unit ! Exact same ! I love it , it takes 30 secs to get an idea down !
