Im 99% sure that its gonna be something like ready player one if you've watched that. I think it generally has a lot of potential if the correct games are chosen and the story and animators do well. I'll be honest, a lot of ideas that I have just show how much potential this movie has. For example, if they base it off of RP1, they can maybe release it in the easter, and have the Easter egg hunt as the idea, and maybe spread these eggs across separate games for Roblox, each with their own difficulty, and the first person to achieve all the eggs gets rewarded something. That's a idea, but another possible idea, im not sure if many people remember this, but maybe the Roblox movie could be on a war, perhaps korblox vs red cliff or overseer? this movie is brimming with potential but only if they do a good job. Im also pretty sure that a like proper movie wouldn't be possible, but maybe like a 30-45 minute film would be better suited. There's a game I used to play called FOB (Field Of Battle) and, that contains a war between orcs and humans, which could be good inspiration for a Roblox movie. All in all though, I feel like any romance or role-play games wouldn't be suited, as that would most likely have a lack of- just like basically keeping people enticed, a movie about a magical war, long time ago in the land of robloxia sounds much better for children, and its very unlikely that Roblox release a movie with fps shooters, seeing as its main audience is children and now. SO that's my opinion.
Edit: Alot of people are asking me how i types this, and it just took me 15 minutes of “english work” in study hall haha, and im just sharing my thoughts and creativity. Anyways, alot of people are suggesting ideas in the replies, so make sure that you read those. I also thought, a roblox movie around 1x1x1x1, would probably be similar to roblox machinas roblox videos, just more high quality. (edit: im not sure if roblox machinas is the real name of ytrr im talking about, havent watched him in a while. im sure some ogs know who im talking about) Alot of people are roasting me for how long my comment is, so i dare you. Figure out a new way to call my comment long, and i guess ill type which one i think is the most creative.

I live in the UK and this is concerning. I don't play adopt me or pet sim or anything like that but I play games like tower heroes and even though they don't have P2W lootboxes, they have cosmetic lootboxes meaning that if this happens, I won't be able to play some of my favourite games which is very unfortunate so hopefully game devs start removing lootboxes and find some other way to have skins in the game.

Making a movie about how they are all about “Powering Disappointment” and how they change everything good. Would love to see how that turns out.
I actually believe they shouldn’t just pick one group, i think the major participants (like people/groups who *want* to participate can) put the money they all make together and make a movie called ‘Evolution Ending’. where it starts off with the original start of roblox, DynaBlocks (i think) and it starts off with the players logging off their account (kinda like wreck it Ralph how the characters are actually alive and have a personal life) and they are facing the brink of An *UpDaTe* and they don’t wanna update. eventually they are being updated over the years, reborn as new *avatars* we have the 2017s, the 2020s so on and so forth . until the end where the roblox characters decide to play games without their owners when roblox servers down. they decide to have a fun time with all avatar friends, like playing games like flood escape, arsenal, adopt me. just basically having a good time before the update. (or the ending could just be them trying to stop it but not able to do anything, and at the end all the friends become friends again not knowing they were friends before the update, kinda like having amnesia and then making new friends that used to be yr past friends but you don’t know that.)
Personally, a murder mystery 2 movie would be so cool. A classic mystery on who's the murder with a sheriff. I think they could pull it off, but I doubt it's that, If not, flee the facility. I think ff if given permission could be a very cool movie due to the fact that it's similar in a way to mm2 but also there could be some plot but not as much as mm2. I think an adopt me movie wouldn't have much plot and would be like a different version of the secret life of pets. If I had to say any like regular game(adopt me, Brookhaven, etc.) I could maybe see something like a Bloxburg movie (if you think about it. Obviousl HD has already given some ideas with that aka just look at some of his older movies)

I personal hope the "Roblox Movie" isn't based on adopt me. I think others would say the same. A more mature game such as arsenal would make a pretty good movie. But I think that Deepwoken would make an outstanding movie for people to watch, not only for those who play Roblox. Just my opinion.

this thing is, what’s the movie going to be about? for me I personally think that it’s like all the special events like egg hunt, bloxy awards and more. one problem is that now they have removed egg hunt (unless they bring it back) and changed bloxy awards to the “innovation awards” so I don’t really know if they’ll change the concept. hopefully we won’t be disappointed like how the community including me have felt this year.

i think a bedwars movie could be like "Once apon a time a boy named cleetus began to farm Over the years he farmed so much that he had trillions of dollars. And he hired people to work for him to grow more crops but soon they got mad (This is to hard we have to quit!) but cleetus didnt let them quit his greed for money made him lose his personality. His workers names we're Builder , Barbarion and Archer. They soon started to argue with Cleetus! This is a show/movie idea I've had for a long time and I would love to see it be made. :D
Each episode would be a different Roblox game. For example, one episode would be Breaking Point, and then the next one would be Murder Mystery 2 , and the next one would be Tower of Hell or Doors, and so forth.
I want a movie or show that has games that have an objective so there is a reason why they are doing it. It would just seem fun to see that. Let me know what you think! :)

For a Roblox movie, I don't think it would have to be in partnership with a single game. I mean, the whole purpose of Roblox is that it is a platform housing many different games, of many different genres. I'd imagine it to be similar to the emoji movie, where (for example) the main character would come from a game - possibly Adopt Me - and something would occur, causing this character to change games. This would make so much more sense, as it would more realisticly represent Roblox as a game, and would make it a movie more about Roblox than a single experience within Roblox. Otherwise, it'd be just an Adopt me movie, sponsored by Roblox, not a Roblox movie at all. Plus, it would allow a lot more opportunities for iconic games to be implemented in the movie, regardless of how big of an impact they have on the storyline. There could be a section of the movie where Piggy is shown and the character runs away from an infected, then transition to a battlefield in phantom forces, to be replaced with a Brookhaven scenery. I don't know exactly how the plot would work, nor how long it would take to make such a movie, but it just seems much smarter and much likelier that a multi-game movie comes out under the "Roblox game umbrella" rather than a focus on a single game.

I know I'm late on this, but I like the idea that you're going for. In fact, if the ROBLOX movie that was announced at RDC goes nowhere, then I could hopefully get a job at ROBLOX one day and revive it with this narrative. However, if you want to paint this idea in a positive light, then I suggest using Wreck-It Ralph or The LEGO Movie as examples rather then The Emoji Movie. I know that opinions are opinions, but that film was heavily panned by critics and audiences, and is widely considered one of the worst animated films of all time. I don't want a ROBLOX movie to go down that path, so I think saying it would be like Wreck-It Ralph or The LEGO Movie would indicate it would at the very least be considered decent.
What if it's going to be just some simple adventurous comedy kids show(like SpongeBob and the cuphead show) which is rated for everyone and has an old Roblox aesthetic to it like including games in it's episodes like natural disaster survival and those numerous obbies and zombie games. I'm not saying that I want it to be a kids show with an old Roblox aesthetic cus anything could be done really well cus afterall Roblox is known as powering imagination

1 - The app, I'm not forced to use it. When I go to the browser mode, there is a button at the top that lets me open the app, but doesn't force me to do it.
2 - Idea: If Roblox was making a movie themselves, here's how I think it would go.
The official Roblox avatar was just minding his own business chilling in his house (which would be the original one from long ago), and then a portal shows up. He gets sucked into the portal and gets sent to different games such as Piggy, Doors, Arsenal, etc. Each game would have some type of challenge(s) he had to complete. If he died, he would restart the game he was in and the challenge he was doing. Once he finishes all the games + challenges he was teleported to, he would get some kind of prize. He would be teleported back to his house and that's where the movie ends. Reply to say what other games would be in this and/or what you think the prize would be.

Rating - Pg or Pg13
Length - 1.5 to 2.75 hours
Title - Roblox Adventure
Description - Roblox was just minding his business when suddenly he was teleported to different games inside his own game. Will he survive?

Roblox app actually is a good thing because its uses less wifi and less performance than the browser it's good for low end PCs in my opinion

I really hope they make an Entry Point movie, it's definitely not the most popular but the storyline and lore deserves a film made out of it.
Entry Point was inspired by the game PAYDAY 2, so I feel like a PAYDAY 2 movie would be better- although a series would be better since PAYDAY has like 6 hours worth of lore, lol

Hey Kreek ! I got a good news for ya ! All ya gotta do to disable it is to Right Click the Launcher from your desktop, and then you click Run as an Administrator, It will fix it and prevent it from opening each time. I hope this will help ya
Kreek already tried it on stream, but it was just a long process to do that every time when joining a game and I think it made his fps unlocker not work or something (or maybe it was something else i forgot). There was a way he found on devforum that did work though, but I don’t know why he didn’t mention it in this video.

They should make a series called ‘Roblox’ for movies. Like Roblox: Jailbreak - The Apocalypse. Obviously I’m just putting an example there, but it would be cool to have lots of different movies for different games on roblox. Sort of like how Call of Duty has lots of series, and Star Wars has lots of series.
Ive been thinking about there maybe being bedwars movies saying the background of each kit and saying how it got to the point where people are fighting over beds on sky islands
This is why games like doors will survive. They are original and have I limited potential. Particularity doors they can add, theoretically, an infinite amount of monster events to keep players on their toes. And because it’s is storytelling they can add new area new objectives and much more

I would really like to see a movie about Phantom Forces. Most people don't realize it, but that game has a TON of lore. That and the guns would make for a really nice action movie.
I think if bedwars would have a movie, it would be like a player equips a kit and he is the chosen one. He would be revealed the origin of all Og kits and will get to choose to go through one kits origin and he would be a featured kit if he goes through an origin, if not they would end up just skin of a kit. So technically take for example the warrior kit was a player and went through barbarian’s kit and became a featured kit. Also the reason the warrior kit has a scar on his face, it’s because he went through barbarian’s origin and got a scar during it.
I feel like Brookhaven has a high chance of getting a movie, because it already has a story to work off, like we already have the portal and the mystery of the agency to start with, and I think a movie about the agency and possibly the end of Brookhaven, in a: “the end of the world” fashion. It would be AMAZING to see the world and story of this game expanded on in a big way, that’s just my opinion, at least.
If they make a roblox movie can they do a retelling of the story of Bonnie and Clyde but in roblox jailbreak.. or make a about roblox bedwars?
Assuming the movies animated, I would expect it to release late 2024 considering how long it takes to make animated movies.

I think the only solution to the lootbox situation is to add a menu exclusive for Belgium and Netherlands (no vpns) that lets you pick what to buy. It would ruin the concept of it being random but it is the best solution I could think of (except for shutting servers down).
Or just make it so they get lootboxes from gaming rather than paying because your idea gives them a ridiculous advantage to others.
Or just not play any loot boxes at all so y’all don’t gamble when your older

Hear me out : Doors, Piggy, or Break In movie . It could be like an animated movie , and since it’s a literal story, they could just change a couple things as well
I have 2 ideas.
The first one is a Doors Movie. I mean, it won the Builderman Experience of the year award so why not make a movie about that experience? I think it would make a great movie.
My second one is a Jailbreak Movie. Like the climax could be where the prisoners go to the most secure prison in Robloxia or something.

It could work but it wouldn’t be as fun to play. With lootboxes the system is based on luck, which makes you want to buy more in hopes of getting a really rare thing. And it makes it fun to watch what luck gives you, never knowing what you’re gonna get. But with what you said, it’s just a normal in-game shop with no one saying “oh maybe I’ll get something better the next time I buy this.” You already know what you’re gonna get and that is what defeats the incentive to keep playing.
