- I'm back at G3! This time I've brought James of @ChopsGarage and Dave of @cardealerpro along with me. We're having a friendly little competition to see who can buy the best car for under £10,000. There are some rules:
🔴 Maximum £10,000 bid (regardless of fees)
🔴 No minimum bid
🔴 Buy as many cars as you like
🔴 Choose your best car before you leave G3
🔴 1 point for every pound made (true net)
🔴 -10 points for every day sold after first seller
🔴 +10 points for every percent of ROI
🔴 100/50/0 points awarded for the best car, as voted for by G3 customers

Ive gotta say looking at some of those dealers i wouldn't buy a pint of milk off them let alone a car especially the 🔔at 28 mins😂
Keep the wheels silver, when I look through autotrader, etc I skip straight past cars with modifications even if they are low milage etc. It's probably just me, but I want a car as close to how it left the factory as possible.

A lot of these cars have an 'S' in the first two letters on the plates, this means they are originally from Scotland. Always worth a good look underneath as it's the worst place to buy from for crusty cars.. But you knew this already right? :-)
Right, so Scotland is the only place they use salt on the roads in the whole of the UK? 😂

That was a superb video, so good seeing 3 off you at the auction & seeing you bid on the actual cars.

Agree, the words 'bargepole' and 'don't touch' spring to my mind.. It is a totally separate 'UK' economy and never the twain shall meet. But I am sure it all contributes to the prosperity of the UK....probably. I'll get my coat.🤔🙂👍

That mileage on the A5 is nothing, they’ll do twice that easy. What a bargain and best looking car in the whole auction.

Bought 2 cars from G3,1 one lasted 3 weeks,the other just drove out of gates,£1000 repair.Caveat Emptor .

when the guy called Dave said the nissan note was from a good dealer called affordable cars Driffield i nearly spat my coffee out!! my other half took her car back 3 times which was a 100 mile round trip and never fixed the problem. she ended up taking them to small claims court and she won. if she had looked properly on line at reviews she would of avoided the place.

Don’t go by the G3 assured reports, they are absolute pants. They also bid there owns cars up. So be very very careful when buying from here.

What are the fees at G3 ? I wanted to register an account but ive phoned them and they wont tell me the fees till i complete registration and deposit the £500 + another none returnable amount to open an account
The fees on my car at £5900 for example:
Tier1: £491.00 Tier 2 (me): £359.00 Tier 3: £314.00 Tier 4: £282.00 Tier 5: £255.00
@@ShiftingMetal sorry I don't understand those fees. I guess you have a trade account. I'll have to register a private account because I cancelled my Trade insurance years ago. What would the fees be on a £1500 car on a private account please.

@@ShiftingMetal thankyou. I can't believe they won't tell me a list of fees until I've registered and deposited £500. What if I don't like fees it just means I've wasted my time and theirs and then need the £500 refunded which I bet isn't the same day.
As Aston barclay the fees are on the wall, it's 400 dep and 2 forms of id, probably takes a few days for refund tho.

Switched on to see what you had to say, but as soon as i heard you had Chopps with you i turned off. The man is an absolute knacker. He has been in the job 2 mins & thinks he knows it all. Quite honestly he knows nowt. Probably not a good idea to associate yourself with him to be honest.
I’m sure the successful business owners in the video will take your comment seriously.
He's a good lad and tries really hard, people aren't born car dealers.
He is well known for being as honest as the day is long, not many of them.
Does he earn a living? Does he get repeat business?
He deals in a different market. The market sector that lots of people need. Start off small, build a rep, know your market, know your customers and build it from there. Doesn't look a bad business model to me. I find it quite refreshing to be honest. And any car dealer who puts themselves on CZcams for all the world to see ticks my box.👍
