Pang should win! 🇳🇴
Magnus’ song reminds me a lot of Only Teardrops (Denmark 2013). An uplifting song, with an instrument (Emmelie with the flute, Magnus with the violin), and very prominent drums in the chorus. Also, they could both be in both an emotional montage, but they could also be the star song of a Disney movie. I really like Magnus’ song.
If Magnus qualifies this will be very tough to beat as he can really sing live

About «Over the sea» Alexander Wallmann, the lead singer from Jowst in 2017 is backupsinging on the studio version.

Over the sea sounds gorgeous.
For this competitions sake, I hope Pang wins this semi. It's different, the message is strong and clearly hits deep, even though you don't know the language. There's something special about it. Also, it's in Norwegian. Will be interesting to see how the live performance looks and if she can sing live. Also, I wonder how they fix the effects if it were to win, since you can't have voice effects like that in Eurovision.
I don't understand how Under the Sea or Pang we're not pre-qualified when the pre-qualified for the two first semi were so subpar compared to both. The Disney song is cute but it's too generic, it's missing something.
I like We love who we love, but I don't see it win the semi.
It's a good semi, it's the first semi were I actually love and enjoy almost all the song, it's my favorite semi since the beginning of MGP. And it's true, it can change live but I hope for the best.

I have to agree, this is probably my favourite semifinal of the bunch, maybe with the exception of semifinal one. I do have to say, I do definitely disagree about the pre-qualification. I think we love we love is definitely the most accessible song in the semifinal, everyone can get behind it and dance, and it is a classic Eurovision Bangor. Furthermore, I do disagree that the first two songs didn’t deserve to prequalify. I still have “take my time on loop”, and it’s running through my head. It’s by far probably the best produced song in all of MGP, and has a real pop sensibilities, it’s the sort of thing that you would hear on Nordic radio, wheress some of these other ones sound a little unpolished.
@@Joraultechy I'm simply judging the pre-qualified songs by their live performances and to me they were lacking. Take My Time is a good studio song but my problem is how Sondrey didn't sound good vocally but he did have a good staging, I feel it wasn't enough to deserve to be pre-qualified. I don't believe people chose for Eurovision song based of how "mainstream" they sound, I really think they pick the song they feel can work the best for them and their country.
I was kind of right for We Love Who We Love and wrong for Pang though, both had a problem of staging, vocally We Love who we love was the best but her staging was a pure mess, Pang was ok but her presence and presentation choices were just bad.

Magnus’ song is perfect for Eurovision!
As a dutch person watching this, my personal fave is the 4th and last song. Also, I'd vote for radio friendly songs since I, besides eurovision, would listen to them on spotify rather than watch a performance.

Hege Bjerk's Pang would stand out overall in my opinion. I can see Love Who We Love and Kristin Husøy's Pray for Me being popular though, that's how I'd hope to see it going.
Ok, Over The Sea and Pang belong both in the final! This is a very unfair draw imo. (Btw Love Who We Love isn't that bad either, but it's a bit generic). Both are better than all the songs in Semifinal 2 and 3.
