- Sweden described as the gun violence capital of Europe, has one of the highest rates of gun deaths in Europe due to a jump in settling scores from criminal gangs. Sweden's rise in this ranking has sparked an important debate in recent years in the country. Drug-related organized crime is generally concentrated in the largest cities: Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. It is in the latter, strategically located near the Danish border, that a war between 2 rival bands shook public opinion. The first led by Amir Mekky who exported himself with his criminal group to Spain where links with Ridouan Taghi, godfather of the Mocro Mafia, were created. On the other side Daniel Petrovski, a notorious drug trafficker who has created a temporary alliance in his city to fight the young Amir. In any case, Sweden is facing the war of gangs fighting for the drug market.

If you look at the video this channel did on scottish crime families you'll find all the names to be scottish or irish because scotland doesnt really have that many immigrants so those in the lowest wrung of society there tend to be just Scottish.

im norwegian, but my dad and mom lived in sweden for 15 years and i also have alot of swedish family. i can tell you it was not even close to this a bit over a decade ago . i used to go to sweden alot in the summers and it was safe and great. also being that i used to live in a border city that was 15 min from sweden i see this spilling into norway in the near future. my city just had some of the first gun violence and cop murder not too long ago.

I am Bosnian myself living in Australia, back in 2002/03 I visited Malmo where my aunties and grandmother lived in Rosengard, I felt safe walking the streets late at night, kids playing soccer, old people walking the streets. Felt like a safe neighbourhood.
Moved to Sweden to school, had some really nice friends. Coming from New Zealand, I had fully expected Sweden to be very similar in way of living. Hearing gunshots on the street is honestly one of the most craziest things ever

I moved to Malmö back in 2001 i remember the days of M and K factions the thing was that way back then before the drama they where if kinda friendley it all started with a drunk drama and gave rise to so much violence.

Excellent video, just a remark on the footage in the intro, there was an explosion in Gothenburg (Göteborg) that had nothing to do with gang-related violence in this video, just so we don't over-dramatize the situation.
Last time I visited Malmo was in 2007. Even back then it felt like a very sketchy city, including the supposedly safe touristy downtown area.

I visited Malmö almost 1 year ago and I heard gunshots close to the downtown. Coming from Iceland it is shocking to see what my fellow Nordic brothers have brought on themselves. The only solution to this is to send in the army to sweep the city house by house.

They’re not doing a great job at all. Right now we have the worst cops in our history.
No one want to be a cop here, so they’ve lowered the requirements many times over.
They’ve also been infected by wokeness, just like our military recruitment, and weak women who has no business in law enforcement are now allowed to start the program.

Good documentary. But it's sad how quickly the situation is Sweden has escalated. This video followed a specific few factions in Malmö, but the war in Malmö area has calmed down considerably- thanks mostly through years of preventative measures.
But things are even worse now in the rest of Sweden due to a war between pretty much just one fractioned gang, september this year beat every record by far and it has gotten to the point where the military is going to get involved and help the police with logistics and surveillance.
None of them have terribly Swedish sounding names.

It have changed in the last years. I live in one of the most segregated suburbs in Sweden, and have done for almost two decades. It used to be that the gang members had really nice cars, but new laws give police the possibility to seize expensive goods like cars, jewelry and even large amounts of cash if people don’t have documented income or reasonable explanation where they come from. So now gang members drive older shitty cars.
