A Destiel fanvid. The forces of heaven, hell, and the narrative constantly put Dean and Cas into unwinnable, tragic situations...but they always fought to save each other and defy fate. Ultimately when the story ends, they break free and can write their own future together.

ohhhh the connotations of 2:18 ... since when do we get what we deserve!!!! and putting the confession over the line "i cant ask you to show love but would it kill you if you did" THAT HURTS!!!!! in a good way. this song is soooooo good im going to be thinking about it foreverrrrrrr.

Yay!! So glad you noticed the 'since when do we get what we deserve' moment matched with the lyric 'you learn to live on less,' I punched *myself* in the feels with that one -- oh, SPN, whY are yOu LiiikE ThiS!? And yeah, I couldn't resist overlaying 15x18 with 'but would it kill you if you did?' Isn't it a great song? So glad you liked it. The singer/songwriter is Dessa and she's put out a ton of great, intricate, lyrically brilliant songs that often mix hip-hop with more traditional melody. She's very cool. A lot of her stuff's available on CZcams or Spotify if you'd ever like to hear more. Yeah, I've made four Destiel vids so far and all of them are set to songs by women singer/composers who have such different styles. There's so much great music out there!

this is so so good!! i love the ability to rewrite stories thru fanvids like this and you did such a good job! i loved the part where the music takes a step back and Chuck appears..... chilling. the use of the show intro is also so inspired i love it ! and what a great song too, i've never heard it before but i'm adding it to my library immediately
