Basil Rathbone is in this vid, though he flashes by quickly -- that's him knocking a glass out of Sir Henry's hand in the opening 'wine' montage, and also him disguised as an old man playing a harmonica about halfway through the vid :) Yes, good point about They Might Be Giants. I saw it years ago but don't have strong memories of it -- I'd like to watch it again sometime. Cheers! :)

In this adaptation, Arthur Conan Doyle's detectives are works of fiction, but they're so popular with the public that two real private detectives -- Shirley Holmes and Jane Watson -- take up residence at 221B Baker Street in order to fill those roles and answer all the requests for help that come pouring in. Scotland Yard is jealous of their success in solving so many mysteries, and conspires to stop them. Its Korean title is 추리의 여왕, which gets translated into English as "Queen of Mystery" or "Mystery Queen." It first aired in 2017 as a 16 episode series, and the premise is that a Korean housewife (Seol-ok) has a true genius for crime solving, but keeps her investigations secret from her disapproving family. A police detective (Wan-seung) is at first infuriated by her interference in his cases, but gradually comes to believe in her and care for her in a sort of love-hate, will-they-won't-they romantic subtext. The two of them solve a series of original mysteries together, while gradually revealing the secrets of their past that drove them to fight for justice. It's a really good show and one of my new favorite Sherlock Holmes adaptations!
