Great informational video Shelley and extremely helpful. I just want to mention that the Self portrait that you attributed to Caravaggio is actually a Self Portrait by Gustave Courbet. This is just a minor correction that does not detract from the benefit of this video

That self-portrait is by Courbet, not Caravaggio.

@@ShellyJCoxArtist Hi Shelley, don't worry. We all make mistakes; I lecture on art history, and if I had a euro for every misattribution I have made over the last 50 years …. Sigh. Judging solely by its mood, the Courbet could be a portrait of Caravaggio: he was a very disturbed man.
Thank you for making this video-colour composition is an art that too many artists pay too little attention to.
