    In a split complimentary - do you always split the lighter if the two compliments? E.g. for blue/orange you split the orange and not the blue.

      No, you choose which one to split, the other compliment is the dominant color

    hello again . nice vid as usual . how did you add blue to red orange or to yellow orange if you are working in photoshop or whatever programm is on PC ? in other words ,how do you mix it .

      I'm just approximating. Photoshop does have a really extensive palette,

    Hi Phil,
    Very interesting scheme. Looks great in your colour study. So would you use this particular colour scheme for a fall scheme or would you pick a scheme that has yellow in it? Thanks, great stuff. Mike

      I could pick a color scheme that gives me colors for a fall scene or pick colors that give me totally different set of colors than the photo shows. Its a good way to get away from copying the photo.
