Hi Carlo! Thanks for the awesome review. I am curious now it has been 1 year, how are the hayabusa's h5 doing? I read some reviews where people were complaining about tears/rips in the faux leather. I am about the same size as you 5'6 ~150 lbs what size would you recommend for bag work/pads?. Love watching your reviews. Keep up the good work!

Great video as always. Could you possibly do a video in the same format for gloves under £50 and where we can get them. Entry level gloves are where most people start and stay for a while but Boxing equipment is fast becoming a sport for the wealthy and moving away from the sport's roots. So many people review insanely expensive gloves and equipment, making the sport seem to be somewhat elitist and just trash the more cost effective brands and gloves. Sadly it's what many of us can only afford.

Hey Carlo, update on the H5s you suggested to me after 6 months use.
Pros: Excellent quality and build. Great pop and feedback. Elastic strap great for wrist support, thick padding on back of wrist for extra support on top of that. Good breathability
Cons: Very firm padding that needs breaking in and doesn't soften up much beyond that. Hand compartment very snug and tight, if you wear wraps and gel pads be wary. Finger compartment is shallow, even with average length fingers I bottomed out, which didn't allow me to curl my fist all the way around and punching causes lots of friction on the knuckles.

Carlo is the fucking man! Best boxing glove reviewer in the game. He's the reason i went from fighting freedoms to hit N move gloves.
Now on to my top 5 list coming from an amateur mma and kickboxing background with only one boxing match (so im partial to mma centric gloves ) top 5 under 100 that I've used
    1. Fighting freedom glove which is the same as the fury one but just more wrist support. Nice progressively dense gloves with great feel but still more pop than spongey feeling. Only con is I've jammed my thumb quite a few times because it's not the most tucked under thumb
    2. Fight to finish elite starter glove. It is so good for feedback great wrist support and very protective and really encorages you too land with your top 2 knuckles. Cons they start a little stiff and are very snug for the first few weeks but are training gloves you can use for whatever
    3. Fairtex bgv1. Now ive used these and personally don't like them but they are HUGE in my community and gym and are high quality. I just don't like how short and fat they are but i can't lie it's the best for x blocking kicks and defensive covering. Very soft on top and good for feedback but not the most protective for wrists or hands
    4. Vali lancers. Just a good all around glove. More spongey but definitely still gives you great feel and well made. No break in period but the con i found was i didn't like how narrow the Velcro was and it wasn't as sticky after a year
5 rev gear s5 all rounders. They are the most pillowy gloves and very nice on your partners but they are also the most protective for your knuckles. They have a ton of padding over your knuckles and are very round so it's not the best for feed back because they are so puffy and round on the top but they are really narrow so great for sparring and jabbing between the gaurd and covering. Con of them is to me again not the best for encouraging landing with good technique on your top 2 knuckles And aren't as durable as others on this list
