- Whats up guys in this video I review 8 pairs of affordable boxing gloves from Amazon. Some of these gloves are well known brands and others are smaller brands looking to grow in the boxing space. I have no affiliation with any of the companies so my review of the products is sincere.
I tried 8 pairs of boxing gloves to help beginners choose which gloves to purchase. As mentioned in the video, I have no use for these gloves so I will be giving them away to the gym. That puts me a little closer to my goal of giving away 1000 pairs of boxing gloves!

The Ringside gloves have more padding on the back of the hand because they’re Muay Thai style gloves, there’s usually more padding on them so they can absorb head kicks better
Ahhh got it, thanks! 🥊
I have the ring horns glove, shin guards, and head protector and they really are good for entry level equipment. I was fortunate to acquire all of equipment under $100 when Venum had them on sale a year ago. Glad I found a review because I could never find one prior and after the purchase; up until now.
Great content El Yuyu. Love to see you and Sam staying in the gym!
Loving the ring horns. Been using them for a month. Thx for the reviews!
I just got the ring horns too
*subbed* much love from Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 can’t wait to get my gloves 🥊
I wanna see everything you named in the beginning so I subbed, don’t disappoint ❤
Thanks for this review I have the exact ring side gloves and you are right they have heavy padding on the top but I also have the sanabul gloves in the black and blue I love those
Thanks! Great content.
Great review video!
Thanks 🥊
Gonna try the ring horns, thanks.
I was looking for an affordable 12oz glove to act as my smaller workout partner's gloves when she comes over and passable for my speed bag gloves. This was very helpful.
Ring Horn Champion.

Do you know any 12 oz affordable gloves under 100?
@@lemonkid2543 Venum Elites. They're awesome and hand made in Thai Land.
The everlast protex II is my all time favorite for hitting the punching bag
I just wish you could still buy them. I have a pair with Synthetic Leather and wanted to replace with a leather pair.
Do some reviews on the gloves in the back, I like the one on the top right, black one.
Should do a vid on types of punching bags👌🏾
Great video!
that blue gloves look so goood
I just ordered the sanabuls to do some light training and bag work. I might have to cancel for the ring horns.
I got the ringhorns from venum on black fridy for free. Ive used them and they are nice. Theres small metal weights in the wrist and they can make the glove cold. The feel is very good though. I would not recommend them for sparring though because the padding on the gloves is very hard. Good gloves and definitely more durable then an entry everlast glove
I agree I wouldn't spar with them. They do feel good but the knuckle padding can potentially hurt your sparring partner!
Great review
Which are better for bag work? TITLE Classic Leather Super Bag Gloves 2.0... or 3.0? Would you recommend something better? (Don't want to spend more than $50.)
After this video which would you recommend for primarily bag work?
Any of these good for sparring? Title classic has some for 15$ and im tempted to grab 2 pairs just to touch spar with my friends
Interesting that the Ringhorns are made by Venum apparently.
Would recommend the adidas speed 50 gloves 12 oz, I’m 5ft 8 57kg and have a little larger hands then usual and they are comfy, good for bag I use for pads on the regular and they are really good quality for the price (£30)
The heavy bag at the gym is like freaking brick..its not a boxing gym..its a regular gym but they have 2 heavy bags ..yet they are harder than a regular heavy bag, what would you recommend for this case? I am 5'7 170 lbs.. Gracias..👍
greetings from Brazil! Nice videos my friend. Keep going!!
Greetings! Thank you so much
Can you review the amber weighted bag gloves they come with 4.5lbs bars
Great video! Lots of helpful info. Where did you getting the mats for the flooring?

Damnn my boy ate that neck punch at 7:14 lmaoo
saludos...thanks for the review
i personaly like ringside the most but there all good to me
Best gloves for the double end bag?
Can you do a video or recommend some boxing mitts
Wow, man! 1k gloves to give? Kudos brother!
That velo gloves is the one I like, hope to cop one of those, great vid.
That’s the goal! Don’t know how long it’ll take but I will do it 🥊
🥊
Thanks!
i got everlast power lock 2s for like £40 in 12oz and they feel like your hitting someone with a brick when they are brand new
they are also lighter than some shitty 10oz gloves i have which are huge for some reason
team ACOSTA 🔥🥊
What shoes/sneakers are you wearing?
I want to use gloves for mostly getting in shape using the heavy bag but I would like to be able to use them for sparring as well. Any advice as to brands or sizes
For sparring I recommend you 16 oz gloves no matter the brand Obviously you get what you pay for so don't get anything too cheap they won't last you much. But 16 oz gloves are the safest for your sparring partner and yourself 👍
16 oz for sure, they're my favorite to use because they help increase my speed when training
Ring horns or the last shiny blue ones for my first buy I only do heavy bag workouts rn
Ring Horns are a comfortable fit!
Review the Venom contenders
Whats the boxing shoe your wearing in the vid?
Yuyu what kind of gloves would you recommend from this video for power punching the heavy bag and what size oz ?
ringhorns 16oz
12oz for the bag
@@timm5970 are ringhorns better than everlast or hawk if you have tried em?
@@rushiljain6541 idk what hawks are but ive had entry level everlast and they are awful. A cheap ringhorn, venum, title would definitely be better
@@timm5970 okay thank you appreciate it. Any other brand you recommend it seems the ringhorns aren't available rn on Amazon here in Canada
@ 7:12 I've been there too many times lol.
Been trying to decide what size gloves to buy for my nephew. He’s 9 1/2 year old about 4’10 and weights around 120 pounds. All of the online kids glove sizes cut off at size 8 and 100 pounds. Was wondering would 8 or 10 ounce in adult size be too big? He’s been wanting boxing gloves for a while I just don’t have any idea what size to go by. Would greatly appreciate any advice.
10 oz would work perfect for training!
@@ElYuyuBoxing great, thanks! appreciate the reply
Im 18 and 5'10 and i weigh 115 pounds lol.
@@bobwiggle4533 bro wtf ur extremely skinny. You should like lift weights or something
@@chromebook65 im 17, 5''10 and 130lbs and im barely outside the underweight class when it comes to BMI so yeah ur 100% correct
When you measure your hand for a pair of gloves do you measure your bare hand or do you measure with wraps on?
Your a man ... You need the 16o.z
Who else just tryna get some gloves to kick some friend’s ass this summer 🤣
Fr😂
Bro u deadass read my mind
Lmfao mean ass🤣🤣🤣
Compare the venum challenger 2.0 to the ringhorn’s
imma soccer player but i like to do boxing for fun so i’m just looking at some unboxing videos
I have a Question please: I just bought Boxing gloves 8 onz, when I wear them I can feel the heart beat in my hands, is that normal or is this a sign that they are too tight? i wear them without a hand warp. They would never fit with warps, even with thin ones.
Many thanks for your videos, they are great.
Yea they are too tight, And btw try not to train without handwrap, it protects your wrist, knuckles, etc.
Well first, don't use 8 oz gloves. You train with 14 oz gloves
Could you review on gloves from AliExpress?
Watching from...🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
May ask for advice for what gloves would be for me to use. I’m 5 ft 125 lbs and I have small hands. I was looking at 12 oz everlast powerlock, wondering if the 12 oz is the correct one for me? I will be training with it, use with freestanding punch bag and do some kickbox
12oz is acceptable. If not then 14oz would be the choice. The 14oz gloves would be better for sparring and for building strength and speed. The 12oz gloves would be better for a more natural feel and can be used sparring but if you can hit hard then 14oz would be more appropriate. Start off with 120z of a glove you think youd like and build from there. If you keep going with it and start building power or want to get more out of your training workouts then up the weight.
@@timm5970 what about me? I am 93.3 pounds, 13 years old and have medium sized hands. what would be the best size gloves for me?
Off course ringhorns, sub style from Venum so ascetics and quality always high
What Oz size did you use for all gloves?
they look like 16oz
one of them had 14 oz on it written
For someone who have just started boxing, buy 50-70 Dollar gloves 8/10 oz velcro gloves, maybe a year and a half later upgrade, 110-200 dollar gloves 8-10oz velcro/lace ups!
Which one do you think is the best for sparring with a friend?
Fists
@@potatopleasure2453 legend
You could always give me a pair of gloves. :D
Fortress boxing gloves are the best
How about Title brand
Nice
Plz I really need a pair but I don’t have the money and my old ones are destroyed
Which is the best for sparring safely?
Any 16 oz glove apparently lol
would you recommend using the ringhorns for sparring and for actual fighting?
For sparring it probably wouldn’t be the safest. For hitting mitts and bag they’re great 🥊
the padding is hard/aggressive so probably not
@@ElYuyuBoxing damn, i think it'd have been better if you'd mentioned that in the video too
Teamacosta 🥊
Too bad the Ztty gloves aren’t on Amazon anymore
I’m 5’10 200 pounds , and have a 9 inch hand what oz glove should I get
16-18oz for training!
@@ElYuyuBoxing how about sparring
@@MAD-nx3er same
Try green hill i like Them better than everlast
trying to buy some starter gloves for my friend, which do you recommend out of all the ones you tried in the video?
I really enjoy the Ringhorns for training they’re easy to put on and they’re the most affordable 🥊
@@ElYuyuBoxing thank you!!
which ones would you recommend for 4-5 sparring days a week
Wtf ur sparring 4-5 days ?
@@4nem944 yeah lol, i go to a local box academy which is now a pretty nice community, i go there sometimes even 7 days a week and have 30min - 1h30 sparring sessions like 4 or 5 days a week
@@TiBi66 dam boy I spar twice a week 1 day against other competitive gyms and the other against ppl from my gym
@@4nem944 nice, oh and btw, i got the venum impact 14oz, they’re pretty good in case ur still looking
@@TiBi66 aye bruh what a coincidence I have the same gloves 😂 but I been using these for a while now and I’m trynna get sum gloves w the lace but dam they’re like $100
Damn, can I have a pair? been meaning to get into boxing but shits so expensive.
I need me a pair manggg I'm hitting my tires with garden gloves
Im 13, 5’3 95lbs and are looking for some cheap but durable gloves because my friends and I like to spar with each other and are considering actual training.
Get some title pro style gloves, their good
All these have the cheese touch
Which of these gloves help you curl your hand the most?
I don't like gloves that makes my hand open when at rest because I am forced to squeeze them tight.
I like my hands loose and relaxed and it would be awesome if the gloves help me curl them instead of me having tighten them up everytime I punch
Try the ztty gloves! It’s In his description
@@famousanthonyyy8665, thanks for the recommendation!
@@xyon9090 np bro!!
Let me get the bule ones
I’m 5’11 around 160 pounds so what should I get the 16 or the 14 oz
For sparring 16 oz and for fighting 14 oz
For training and heavy bag what should I get?
@@mohammedalkhyat5768 it’s better using 16, because while you using it, you can increase your speed and power. In a fight you’ll most likely use 10-14 oz gloves. So if you use heavier gloves in training, you can increase speed and power and you can be faster and more powerful with lighter gloves.
@@juicypears5466
Thank you so much bro
@@mohammedalkhyat5768 anytime brother
Best cheap glove is cheering gloves
I tried the Everlast pro before, my elbow hurts every time I hit the bag
Why’s that? What gloves do you use now 🥊
@@ElYuyuBoxing Not sure what cause that, but I think I am not the only one having that issue with that gloves. Now I am using Reyes Safetec glo...emm, actually nothing since my gym closed:(
@@ElYuyuBoxing and I tried with my friends' powerlock before, they are very protective, very good feels, easy to make the fist.
Try gel patch for knuckles it helps for shock absortion. Also do a lot of push ups. Try to do 100 every day you can.
Cleto reyes are the best
Friends said the Sanabuls smell when new…
These gloves look like they have machine mold padding and they will not last a long time. It's one layer padding, usually made of 2 liquids mixed together after which they expand into a preformed shape. Most of the time, the impact at the knuckles will cause the padding to break at that very part, causing pain so it is vital to purchase new gloves regularly. Do that 4x a year and those cheap gloves end up pretty expensive.
what gloves would you advise getting for heavy bag work to protect knuckles?
do you recommend 16oz or 14oz?
10 or 12
It would be cool if I can get a glove
Ok Ringhorns im seriously considering getting as my first glove. These better be good lol.
EDIT: the gloves are slightly worn after regular weekly use. The left ones inside is a bit torn, probably my fault due to not cleaning or having long nails at the time. Overall they've held up decent so far
@Sonny Santino Yh i bought em. They feel pretty ok. My wrist does give out a bit when i throw a hard punch but i think hand wraps will fix that. So tbh they are pretty decent so far.
@Sonny Santino Yh thanks. Once they wear out i'll probs upgrade to Hayabusa or cleto reyes or something fancy. Good Luck to you in any future endeavours friend.

Sanabul gloves work for me I have huge hands
Nice 🥊
nice 🇧🇷🇧🇷

RDX makes the best budget friendly gloves imo
Bought a pair the other day from RDX and unfortunately they're too small for me, I'd consider myself to have quite small / average sized hands however my hands get cramps after a few minutes of use with them, quality is great but the fit for me anyways just isn't comfortable sadly. Might go cop the Ringhorns after seeing this video though.
@@MrTitanFTW which rdx gloves did u get? theres no way they are "too small" if you have "small/average" hands. Never heard of anybody say something like that and everybody i know who uses them has about the same size hands(average). Used quite a few different pairs too. the ringhorns have more space they just are a bag glove only dont use them to spar
@@MrTitanFTW title classic leather glove may be better for u or just a title glove in general
