- Insomniac Marvel Spider-Man 2 has released a few updates since launch but the community is still hungry for more updates and expansions such as quality of life improvements, weather and The long awaited marvel Spider-Man 2 DLC. This video Aims to highlight, educate and remind the community of what is needed in the game in improve the experience and longevity.

I may be the first one to say this but marvels Spider-Man 2 has really died out since release man. Feels like this game went 2 steps back compared to the first game. Swinging/ combat wise they taken stuffs out which angered me and also they didn’t go beyond in that aspect. The game has been out for 7 MONTHS….. and still no dlc and ppl wonder why the game is dying. I got bored of this game cuz it didn’t have that replay value like it did the first gam. Also another reason why this game is dead is cuz the symbiote plays the exact same way as the other regular suits (apart from surge) but outside of that it’s the same combat/ dodge/ swing animations and the finishers… you can’t even morph into the symbiote in the game🤦🏾♂️ it don’t feel different when wearing it cuz it doesn’t play different. Insomniac really let me down
I agree with you on the replay-ability side of this but this could be due to the fact that SM2 doesn’t feel totally new as 2018 Spiderman did in terms of bringing something completely fresh to the table. Also when it comes to web swinging and traversal i think they improved upon what was already done from the previous games, my only issue is the lack of content and requested updates from the community for example the symbiote surge mechanic that we have been requesting for and obviously that long awaited DLC is now long overdue but i guess thats cause of the cyber attack… it must have changed all their release schedules
@@ultimateSkadoosh let’s talk traversal in ms1 (web swinging/ web tunnels/ web zip/ point launch). Ms2 (faster web swinging/ loop de loop/ corner tether) im talking just web swinging apart from web wings. But look at the decrease amount of features compared to the previous game. There’s no double hand web zip/ you can’t grind while swinging but you can surf on the water, so it is possible. Can’t web tunnel through windows/ cafe/ helicopters and speaking of web tunnels it doesn’t feel as much present in this game I’ve noticed, each time I come across a water tower the input to web tunnel doesn’t show.
@@Pobaika The few honest problems with SM2 is the story pacing, venom boss fight and the killing of most villains like scorpion, vulture off screen, the rest of issues are minor and i can go by them easily but i see what you mean with the traversal, they replaced some of the optional swinging mechanics in favour to the web suit cause the map became bigger so we needed a faster way to get around. I would love the game to have a faster swinging momentum, it will improve the experience drastically

@@ultimateSkadoosh the venom boss fight ah don’t get me started. Can’t believe they showed us a poster art of Peter and miles getting chased by venom on a rainy night sky around the city AND WE NEVER GOT THAT IN THE GAME!!! that was the biggest blow for me story wise. With venom I didn’t really get that villainous threat from him, hes meant to be a terror to the city, he’s meant to hate spider man becuz it was rejected. But all i got was that he wanted to heal the world with Peter, I dunno man maybe becuz I had high expectations for this game both gameplay and story and it didn’t make me get up from my seat
Bring back the screaming when peter is taking off the symbiote

Insomniac needs to give us the option to change the color of the web wings for Miles.
Yeah i wanted to include that too then i thought its very unlikely they will but still possible
I want to be able to have Peter aggressive symbiote voice lines after finishing the story they could have the option in menus like the perry and symbiote tenderl
His voice lines during the Lizard boss fight was something else man, especially the chase scene
