- It's the first day on the job for these three rookie officers, and Sergeant Grey wastes no time assigning them to their training officers. (From The Rookie, Season 1 Episode 1 "Pilot"). Subscribe: goo.gl/mo7HqT

I'm already on season 5, this show is pretty good. And watching this clip, man a lot has changed since the first season.
The Rookie? Last time I checked. Buck was a Gunnery Sargent and The Rookie had a bullet through his brain.
Fucking Mickey... that inserectionist taitor...
😭😭 i knew id find one of our people in here
People still remember the Dorner incident......so he's in good company..
Nolan saved Grey's life lol
Somehow Nolan got way cuter than the first season lol
They changed his hair
No
anybody else hate how rude grey is to Nolan like go away
All cops have a dirty humour, it’s what keeps them from going about their day.
Well Grey now his best buddy with Nolan and Tim now is sweet heart.. 🤣🤣🤣
he wasn't supposed to be his friend. nolan is old. really old to be a rookie. greys job wasn't to coddle him but to help him realize what he signed up for. if you can't realize that then you should stop watching the show.
@@nomcookieman7281 I wrote this when I was 14 i don’t even know what im talking about at this point lol.
Nolan could sue Grey for age discrimination
If he knew about it he could sue EVERY department that didn't want him because of that.
I swear to god age should not matter if you are fit for the job.
Thats true
No, he couldn't, and trying would have made him no friends at the department.
Ikr he wasn’t 40 he was 45
It's a tv show people
Verry Good
I didn’t know Richard castle became inspired to become an official cop after writing his book from shadowing a detective 😅
Castle became a cop lol
Yeah finally 😂😂
It was obvious he really wanted to. 😁
Man sgt grey loved to talk crap cause how old he is one grey is like fifty and Nolan is younger then him
Grey wasn't a rookie though, that's his whole point
Except Grey at that point was already a Staff Sergeant, or Sergeant II in the LAPD. Nolan was still a P1.
Does anybody know the song they playing here ?
i want to know also
Pop your golden gun
age discrimination?
Anup Jahl In that line of work it’s better to be young than old. He’s 40. They’re in their 20’s. He has to work twice as hard and think twice as fast to keep up with. The boss is just stating facts as they are.
@@bigq60 a lot of police work isn't just being physically fit. A 40 year old has enough experience that they can spot things that a 24 year old cant
@@markwalshopoulos That's true but another problem is that a 40 year old is harder to teach than a 24 year old. They are kind of set in how they think at that point compared to someone in their 20s. It's not impossible for them to change of course.
Mark Oliver Walsh also you gotta think long term, most police officers retire in their 50s, a 20 year old is a much better investment for a department
+AdeptKing You are full of crap about the age thing. When I STARTED I was the second oldest. I was also TOLD that I seemed the most observant because I was there to learn, NOT to be a hot shot! 20-something’s are sometimes arrogant towards older and sometimes rude. They already claim to know their job despite not. You have the age problem, not me.
let there be season 2
reynoldstheoplis94 there is 👍
@@1776Blue and now a 4
Now 5
Expect season 6 coming soon
Age
Why Nolan always getting picked on
Main character
The chevrons denote P3 not FTO. What's up with that?
I'm pretty sure most FTOs have to be a senior officer. Or a P3. Indicating the two chevrons.
Aren't Bishop, Lopez, and Bradford, P3s and FTOs?
No chevron's mean P1, P2. Chevron's mean P3, if there's a diamond under the Chevron it's P3+1
To be honest nobody gives a ahet about anybody weather your cop or not money and home is the goal we all care about
show about bullies,
Boo hoo bitch

You should turn Guava Juice into a show
WTF
It's funny how the segeant is talking about incredibly high standards, and then on the news you hear how shitty american police actually is...
I know it's not a documentary but still :D
Great copaganda
They way the training officers speak to the rookies is unrealistic today. You couldn’t get away with talking to them like this. You’d be hit with discrimination disciplines asap! Snowflakes everywhere today 😂
A show I had high hopes for but yet another one with forced views on the (modern) world. All races are represented ok nothing wrong with that. Then comes the white racist acting t.o. Following a lesbian burglar couple and to top it off a couple with the wife as the offender. Haha it’s not wrong. But It FEELS so forced. Real shame. One season is enough for me.
You do realize the T.O was intentionally faking racism as a test on his rookie right?
