In this video I show you how to fix your Panasonic Plasma TV that has a Horizontal line across the screen, this issue is caused by either a bad ribbon connection on one of the SD or SU boards, or is a bad SD or SU board. These boards are for horizontal issues and if you have a vertical issue it's the buffers boards on the bottom of the Plasma TV. Thanks for watching.

Changed out the SU Board for a 7 blinking light fix on a Panasonic plasma. Once I booted it back up had lines going across the screen. This video helped out a bunch. No longer do I have lines. Thank you!
Worked for me, Thank you! I have a 2011 Pansonic 55 plasma - TC-P55GT30. I had disassembled the TV to replace the SD board due to starting issue (7 red blinking lights).

When you have just one or maybe two lines that flicker in this manner, it generally cannot be corrected by re-seating the ribbon connectors or replacing the SU or SD boards. It is a problem with the panel. I have the same problem with my Panasonic and re-seating and replacing the SD board had no effect. I also have a Sanyo with a Panasonic chassis that has two single vertical lines that flicker blue in color. It too is a panel problem or the COF connector which has a shift register embedded in the ribbon connector itself. A recent conversation with a Plasma TV service technician explained, in detail about these type of panel problems. Panasonics are known for these types of problems which are not fixable. You just have to live with it or replace the set. The display panels are no longer available and if they were they would cost more than a new TV. Note: If the line(s)s are black there is a chance it could be fixed by re-seating the ribbon connector. If the line(s) are flickering in a particular color, then it is probably the panel.
Well, i will have to respectfully disagree with you. Today, march 24th 2020, i fixed my 50" panasonic viera tv p50xt50x.
I had horizontal rainbow lines, and even some vertical ones. For 1 week i watched videos, all related to lines and colors, for different brands. I learned about cleaning ribbons, ports, making sure the ground screws are tight enough, etc. I opened up my viera, started by cleaning the ribbons on the left side, connected it... no rainbow lines... but know i had solid black bars (bars, not just lines). Dismounted the Y-usis board, cleaned entirely with alcohol, cleaned the ports and the inner pins. Mounted it back, now i only had a few black lines. Spent almost 2 hrs, about to give up (even though i had had progress earlier)... I mean, you would look at the ribbon and it was clean (before it had some black points, dirt i guess or something). And certainly i looked at how the connectors would "click" and be okay. It all looked right. What? was i supposed those black lines were the panel? even though they were not the initial problem and after i reduced them from thick bars to lines? Nah... then i remembered a technician told me that Panasonic had very good quality panels, that usually they were never the issue. Had to keep trying. After many times of disconnecting and reconnecting the ribbons, I realized that you need to make sure the ribbons and its pins are making good solid contact after you bring down the clip to secure the ribbon. What i mean is, i connected the ribbon and once secured, i would pass my finger along the clip, pushing it down, like, making sure the connectors would make contact. This method worked on the first connector, decided to do the same with the rest (they all showing black thin lines, meaning 1 pin was not making contact).
It worked. Perfect crystal clear image, like only plasmas can do it.
And it all started by blinkimg rainbow horizontal lines. My plasma panel is perfect.. issue was the lateral board.. dirty ribbons, dirty connectors and bad pin/ribbon connectors.
Also, loose ground screws can cause certaim ribbons to stop working. Making sure they are tight helps.
Edit: Forgot to say, a technician wanted to charge around $200 and $250 bucks, with what we all known: "might be this or that piece, it is hard to get, might be the display, wont be cheap". I was about to buy a new Y-isus bar ($40 to $80 bucks), also got tired and thought on selling it for pieces or just give it away.

My tv a TCL.ROKU 32"720p From 2018. Has long pink line and couple of blue short lines i had it 3 years not sure if its rebin cables or one of the parts inside
I had it for alot of months and now there are alot of thin lines on my tv

Actually it a ribbon cable problem, it have loose termination with glass panel ... not board problem.
