This is my most abitious project so far, trying to make Timelapses even more cinematic and engaging. The Campaign turned out longer than I though and precosseing the video takes a while so I have divided this one up into two parts. The Next part will be uploaded as fast as possible within a few days.
In order to show Europe in as much detail as possible i have used the Magna Europa mod, a big shoutout to the team behind it! If you're into just the European conflict this mod is a definite must have!
This WWII timelapse has been simulated by AI in the video game Hearts of Iron IV by Paradox Interactive.
All DLC are installed:

It really does put in perspective of how big this war was on both fronts it's like playing hoi4 on Google maps
You have to play this mod with hoi4 real time mod lol

Christopher single-handedly revolutionized the hoi4 timelapse community after years of stagnation in just a few months...... insane. Nobody was making high quality videos like these before he showed up
I only started watching these recently. I think Hoi4 youtube algorithm is taking a liking to him. But it's easy to watch these video start to finish because you want to see how it ends boosting these videos.

Love the fact that they pushed all the way to Moscow, but then got pushed instantly back to the original positions.

@@Nothing-1w3 Just like the real life Moscow Counter Offensive. And probably they advanced that quickly because the troops there were exhausted because of the previous offensives.

It was not true that Italy lost all Albania. This map is not correct. Only some parts of south Albania were lost before the great German army enters the Balkans

Haha I wish the quality of my life improved as fast too! It's more difficult to cut, trim and enable console commands in real life than in Hoi4 unfortunately. ;)

Technically they got to Moscow, but they got only to enjoy the distant lights of the city, since they got to the suburbs of the city.
And if you look closely they actually captured Moscow at 7:26 but got immediatly pushed back.

I knew the AI was bad, but
The axis took all divisions off the Soviet front they were winning on so they could garrison VICTORY POINTS!
I saw in a gwd time lapse the German empire pulled all their troops from the Russian front, for the western front, not even garrisons... That is the hardest and stupidest throw I've seen the AI do at all
One can really see the amount of effort and work you've put into this timelapse and the result clearly speaks for itself. Marvelous work!

Your work is fantastic, I've seen a couple of your WWII's and are totally engaging. I'm Spanish and love History; if you're open to advice, just for the sake of accuracy, by 1939 the spanish Civil War's front had signficantly changed from that of Jan 1938. The republican offensive in El Ebro in the East had failed in it's attempt to break the rebel's lines, who retaliated right after in November 1938 and by Jan 26th had entered Barcelona. The war ended April 1st 1939. I truly admire what you've done here.
