I used to use that method too when I had a microwave! It is a bit of a pain in the butt to have to keep checking every few seconds, with this method I find I can chill out and watch videos on my phone while I'm stirring and adding chocolate 😄
I tried it today using semi sweet Ghirardelli chips. Turned out perfectly. I'll be using this method a lot. I love that it works with a small amount of chocolate so you don't have to be in need of a big batch, and the clean up is a breeze! I LOVE that it is thermometer-free. This is a good one! @@Tashcakes
Hi there! I didn't chill them at all, they set in a couple of minutes left out on my kitchen counter (from 02:50 I talk about how tempered chocolate can do this but untempered can't, and what temperature my kitchen was at the time) - you can pop it in the fridge or freezer to set faster though, it'll only take a minute or two, especially on hot days in the summer 😄
